- How they are useless? Before Emerald - useless besides Pokéblock and the power medicine, since Emerald - lowers Defense EVs and raises friendship.
- POKéblock ingredient. Plant in loamy soil to grow Qualot.
- Can be ground up into powder as an ingredient for medicine.
- Makes a Pokémon friendly but lowers base Defense.
- A Poffin ingredient. Using it on a Pokémon makes it more friendly, but it also lowers its base Defense stat.
- Using it on a Pokémon makes it more friendly, but it also lowers its base Defense stat.
- Using it on a Pokémon makes it more friendly, but it also lowers its base Defense stat.

- Thanks, that was precisely the information I was looking for. This huge page and no mention of how it actually works. Uploader, it's useless because it's the exact same info, with different wording, pasted over and over.
