Faith, Hope and Charity

Their English names are Faith, Hope and Charity but I can't match them with characters. I have no idea which one is Faith, which is Hope and which is Charity. I just know that they are named that. --Maxim 13:20, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

Really? Hmm, I can try to do a bit of sleuthing to figure out which one's which after my Bio exam today. What's the source? I know it wasn't mentioned in the anime... was it?
For reference, according to Pokeani, Minami has brown hair and a yellow shirt with green leaf-y patterns on it, Tsunami has red hair and a green shirt with yellow circles on it, and Konami has reddish-brown hair and a pink shirt with red flowers on it. I didn't write it in because any phrasing of that sort of information sounds awkward to me; a screenshot would really help this article. --Pie ~ 14:32, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
I can't remember a source myself, but I definately remember that piece of info too. It's Faith Hope and Charity.--ElectAbuzzzz 15:31, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
I'm searching Google, and I can only find one website that mentions these names, Brock's article on Wikipedia. Are you guys sure it's not just fanon? I need a source. --Pie ~ 16:13, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
Okay, I've broadened my search. There's another article on Wikipedia that's got the names, Orange Islands. But beyond that, the only site I've dug up that uses these names is a German one that looks like it was made in Geocities. Still need a source. --Pie ~ 16:21, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
And now I've asked on the Orange Islands talk page. Unless someone knows the answer already, this discussion will continue when we get some feedback there... --Pie ~ 16:45, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
I've definitely seen those names before. Surely it's in the episode somewhere? - 振霖T 22:22, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
Weren't they mentioned in one of the Orange Islands novelizations? I have heard those names before as well. I'm 100% sure they weren't mentioned in the episode. I'm almost certain all three were played by Kayzie Rogers, though. --PAK Man 22:38, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
I don't know. The only major source I can find on them is Wikipedia, dating back to the article creation which was an IP address that's got a lot of vandal warnings on its talk page. So we need a good solid source before we can add it, because yeah, they weren't referred to by name in the episode. (And yeah, I'd agree with you there. They all got that tone of voice that goes with all of her characters. I wonder if Professor Ivy was miscredited because of them appearing in the same episode - she is listed as played by Kayzie Rogers, but Ivy sounds pretty much nothing like her other roles, I think...) --Pie ~ 22:57, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
Still no word back on Wikipedia... hmm, maybe I can ask on the forums? <=/ --Pie ~ 01:37, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
I believe I may be able to shed some light on the subject. In the official anime companion book "Extreme Pokémon", on page 23 there's a section on Valencia Island, including this nice little quote which should confirm their names. "Professor Ivy bred and raised all the Pokémon on the island. Now, she and her assistants, Faith, Hope, Charity, and Brock (Ash's friend), study, observe, and train mostly Water Pokémon, like Gyarados, which live in the bay right next to Professor Ivy's lab." I hope that's sufficient enough proof.--Nebula 22:12, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
