I'm saved in my bedroom before even going downstairs, much less meeting Zinnia. If I start this save and exit to meet Zinnia, then go back into and come out of my house, I can get a Johto starter. Birch and Norman are old friends who have stayed in touch over the years, so it's well possible they visited each other while the player was small. My parents keep in touch with their old friends, who live far away from where we do. I'm not saying they definitely changed my diapers when I was a baby, but I know for sure they had to do with me at that stage, so the possibility is given. | |||

Changing the player's diapers
- Why does the player moving in from JOhto have to mean Birch can't have changed the player's diapers as a toddler? Birch and Norman are old friends who have stayed in touch over the years, so it's well possible they visited each other while the player was small.
