:Nopes. Pokémon "b" gets the normal amount of EVs the wild/foe Pokémon gives. '''[[User:Hfc2x|<span style="color:#008800">h</span><span style="color:#000000">fc</span>]][[User talk:Hfc2x|<span style="color:#000000">2</span><span style="color:#008800">X</span>]]''' 03:13, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

== I've been wondering... ==
if Pokemon "a" holds, say, a Power Lens, and Pokémon "b" is another pokémon, and both are in your party, what happens if:
*a battles and runs away
*a doesn't battle, but b runs away
*a battles, is switched for b, who then runs away
*a doesn't battle and b defats a pokemon
*a battles, but switches for b, who defeats the foe
