Seriously. Who doesn't think the movies are canon? Is there anyone out there? <span style="color:#FF0000">TTE</span>chidna 07:21, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

:To my mind the wording is fairly weak so it's kind of a non-issue. Someone wrote the section in the first place therefore there is someone out there who doesn't believe or doubts that they are canon thus it should remain. Also we are not here to pass down rulings on truth unless there has been any official confirmation one way or another. So it should remain as it is, a neutral account of a fandom argument representing both sides equally allowing readers and fans to come to their own conclusions. My two cents, refunds available.--Beligaronia (talk) 07:39, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
Pokémon Apokélypse
Does anyone know about Pokémon Apokélypse? If it even exists, shouldn't it be on the list since it is the first live action movie? SeanWheeler 00:36, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
Oh wait, it's a fake? That shouldn't be allowed on Wikipedia. SeanWheeler 00:42, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
:Even fakes have some notability. It's a well made short film in the guise of a trailer. Perhaps we should even have an article about it here (not on this page, mind you; but if we can have pages on webcomics, we might ought to have a page on this little endeavor). --AndyPKMN 00:47, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
:: oh dear no, anything but that crap... Ataro 00:52, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
:::Come on now, let's be reasonable. I think if Super Effective can have a page, this certainly deserves one. Regardless of your opinion on the film's quality, it was newsworthy when it was released (most fansites mentioned it in their news; I think even Bulbanews did), and there's certainly enough information to put into an article. --AndyPKMN 12:52, 17 October 2010 (UTC)
::::Pretty sure Bulbanews didn't report it. &mdash;<span style="font-family:Verdana"><span style="color:#000">darklord</span><span style="color:#0047AB">trom</span></span> 11:25, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
:::::I agree with AndyPKMN...it appears that Pokémon Apokélypse is quite the notable short film, approaching nearly 7 million views on YouTube, and currently being one of the most viewed videos related to Pokémon.  I would say that Bulbapedia should at least have some article on it.  Various prominent videogaming sites have even reported on it as well, such as Kotaku, GamesRadar, GameInformer, and Joystiq...  Even Wikipedia has something on it, and they normally skimp on Pokémon species articles...  If we can have articles referencing webcomics, fansites, fangames, and hacks, an article detailing this film project certainly wouldn't be out of the question. why the lenght of the movies isn't in the respective articles? I think this should be added. --SamuStar 20:36, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
Major events
Since there are rarely, if any, major events that pertain to the progression of the series, can the Debuts subsection on each movie page become the main section, with the major events main section headline removed?--SandmanDP 22:39, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
:Seems that the only movies that have the major events sections are 1 and 11. The others don't. So I guess we should follow how the majority of them are and remove the major events section. --<span style="color:#33CC66;">ケンジ</span><span style="color:#6600CC;">の</span><span style="color:#FF00CC;">ガール</span> 00:10, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

Titles
The first movie's amendment "Mewtwo Strikes Back" isn't present on the poster or cover and thus only inside the movie. Still it's added as part of the title.<br &>
The third movie's poster and the title inside the movie have an "ENTEI" in Unown-letters added, but it's not added in the title. Furthermore the third movie's title inside the movie doesn't have an "3: The Movie" amendment.<br />
Pokémon Heroes - after what's in the movie "Pokémon: Heroes: Latios & Latias" seem to be more fitting.<br />
Also, why is it "Pokémon the First Movie - Mewtwo Strikes Back" and not "Pokémon: The First Movie - Mewtwo Strikes Back" as it is a "T" and not a "t" on the poster, cover and logo?<br />
Thus: where do the titles come from resp. what are the 'correct' titles? -Bernd (talk) 18:13, 17 July 2012 (UTC)

M19 info has been released.
Hi.
Some info for M19 has been released on Toho's site. Namely, it will (obviously) be distributed by Toho for Japan, it will premiere on July 16th, 2016, its tentative title is Pokémon the movie XY & Z 2016, and the writer for the film is Atsuhiro Tomioka, again. We might need to create an article on M19 very soon if not now. Weedle Mchairybug (talk) 21:12, 11 December 2015 (UTC)
:More info has been unveiled. Namely, the main event Pokémon will be Volcanion, obviously, and the plot revealed that Volcanion dropped out of the sky and that he hates humans. However, he unwittingly had Ash tag along thanks to a device connecting them together, and they head over to Azoth Kingdom, featuring a lot of machinery, asking why he's going to the Azoth Kingdom. Really, shouldn't we be creating a new movie article by now? Weedle Mchairybug (talk) 21:07, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
Hoopa and the Clash of Ages poster?
I was wondering if anyone else noticed this, but Movie 18, Hoopa and the Clash of Ages does have it's own poster... Right now though, it stealing Movie 16's poster. I can fix this if nobody else is. Mangos0FT0

Is this page permanently going to class "I Choose You" as a Sun & Moon series movie despite having nothing to do with it content-wise, or is it just until we knew more about it? TheFatPanda (talk) 20:14, 1 April 2017 (UTC)
:M20 is being released during the Sun & Moon series, which is why it's being listed there on pages which make the distinction. --Abcboy (talk) 20:51, 1 April 2017 (UTC)
