:::The information originates from a merchandise advertisement; the item in question is associated with Platinum in its branding, but to go as far as to conclude that the collectible Pokémon therein represent the Sinnoh Pokédex critters, is quite a stretch. After all, assuming that the Pokédex has been kept in tact, why should the toy company limit the content to a rather arbitrary selection of Pokémon dictated by the games? | |||

Why, for instance, would they have bothered to showcase Magmortar and Electivire in a Wi-Fi battle, when they could have just shown them being used by Volkner and Flint?
