::::::Max King: I will be pissed off if | ::::::Max King: I will be pissed off with Game Freak if they DON'T include Kanto in the remakes. No, I DON'T care that GSC Kanto felt small and rushed. It still provided with extra gameplay and made the world more massive (GSC has the highest number of cities in any Pokémon game to this day), and I like being able to know how Kanto evolved in the 3 years between RGB and GSC, being able to earn 16 badges, and getting to fight Red (who had the highest-leveled team in the whole series until Platinum came out). Plus, GSC Kanto was meant to be a extra region. So who cares if it isn't as big and doesn't have a main quest as long as a "main" region? | ||

In other words, both can't exist in the same continuity. Plus, turning the final GSC battle into a double one would seem too much a change for a remake (And a change that I wouldn't want, personally. I like thinking of the last battle as me fighting with the until then strongest Pokémon trainer in the world, the champion and protagonist of the first game. Making me fight TWO trainers at the same time [as opposed to just fighting THE trainer] would ruin that IMO). They will most likely make it so that you fight the one whose gender is the same as yours.
