::As I said previously, the Japanese word for September (which is easy to read because it consists of an Arabic numeral 9 and the kanji for "month" (i.e. 9月)) isn't found in the original, untranslated text. (Google obviously screwed up when making its translator and it somehow botches the translation of "fall 2009" and spits out "September 2009" instead for some bizarre reason.) Nor is the word for October, which is the same as September but with 10 instead of 9 (i.e. 10月). I'm not anywhere near fluent in Japanese (in fact, my knowledge is pretty basic), but I think it's safe to assume that the 10 is referencing how many years it's been since the release of the original versions of Gold and Silver (they were released in Japan in 1999).
