Images

Before we improve this page, may I suggest that we put updated images of the game and pictures of the gymleaders?

I would if I could, but I have no clue how to add images to articles. Also, I can't finish putting in the gym leaders. I can't get on the website.

I can help you with the gym leaders because I have an account of that game. It is the same as my account here so don't worry.--Jemar 01:21, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

Dont worry, I got the problem fixed dude! We fellow Crater Dudes will like help you~! Thats what buddies are for! --Jemar 12:02, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

Um, this is just supposed to be an article on the website, right? Coz it's starting to look like a walkthru...--Manga-in-a-bottle 13:14, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
Hmm... maybe the game data could be moved to a side article. --FabuVinny T-C-S 13:24, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

Whats a side article? --Jemar 13:32, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

This article is about the game and more info about it. For your information. For now our ongoing work is about the Gymleaders because most of us don't know how to put images and other stuff.--Jemar 13:32, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

Great idea. a side article sounds nice but it would turn this page into a very short one. Unsigned comment by Agent 219

Maybe we could add a link from this page to the side article. --Jackowaco 19:22, 28 October 2007

Vote

Do we want a side article? I say we cast a vote; not and official one, just put a comment in this section saying either yes or no. I say yes. --Jackowaco 17:23 October 29 2007

Ugh, we don't need to vote on everything.
Basically, the list of Gym Leaders and items would be moved to "Pokémon Crater meta information" or some title along those lines. Obviously, the pages would link to each other. This article wouldn't shrink too badly - it would look similar to this version of the page. The result would be a concise account of the site that anyone unfamiliar can quickly understand, while we still retain the lists for those wanting the information. Does anyone object to this idea? --FabuVinny T-C-S 18:25, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

LOL. That was the page BEFORE I edited it. Thanks for the memories. But, its a good idea. --Jemar 11:24, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Picture

We need a new main picture. Any ideas for what image could 'define' the site? --FabuVinny T-C-S 18:25, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

I don't. Whenever I try to upload images onto Bulbagarden Archives, there's an error message. By the way I started Pokémon Crater meta information. It has the gym leaders and items. I was thinking of doing each individual Pokémon, but that would take a ton of articles...how does a Project:CraterDex sound?

NO! --Theryguy512 00:02, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

Let's ask if we can put crater stuff on some NORMAL Pokémon articlesand see if we can put the metallics and other stuff in there? That would be an easier choice. --Jemar 10:59, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

So what do we need a CraterDex project for, anyway?

Couldn't it all go into this article? Seriously. It's all unofficial, barely more than fanfic. It gets off the hook from that because it's relatively popular. TTEchidna 00:49, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

PRECISELY! Pokémon Crater is just a fansite! It's just a game, just like Runescape and Battleon... Agent 448δ | DP | 00:53, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, you're right. I guess I just got carried away. --Jackowaco

I'm still for having the Gym leader info on a second page. --FabuVinny T-C-S 00:58, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

WE DON'T NEED CRATERDEX THINGY! Put some info in the Pokémon Articles! --Jemar 11:07, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

CraterDex was a stupid idea, Pokémon Crater is unofficial, and we'll never be able to put Crater info into the Pokémon articles. We can fit it into this article. --Jackowaco 20:52, November 8 2007

What do you think, TTEchidna? You're an administrater. --Jackowaco 20:58, November 8 2007

I will be gone for some time but I'm still thinking how to make that side article a reality. --Jemar 05:37, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Site closing

I have added this to the article, as it is on the pokemon crater website, if it doesn't have any relevance then remove it Triceratops9 07:19, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

It's so sad that Pokemon Cater (It's actually spelled that way) is going to shut down. And I did not know he was not yet graduated! We will all miss pokemon Crater (Again, it's spelled that way. *sigh*)and my Puny Pokemon. *cries* In memory of that famous site lets all remember the good times that we played there. The humiliating loses, the crowds cheering (in your head) and most of all my good pokemon there, Inferno.

Does that mean we did all this work for nothing? (I wish I could have at least have caught a legenday Pokémon *sigh*)-- Jackowaco 8:31, 18 November 2007

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! - unsigned comment from PokemonTrainer7738 (talkcontribs)

I guess that solves the coverage issue. I have a go at reworking the article in December. --FabuVinny T-C-S 16:29, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Can't believe that site's gone. Pokemon Crater was the first thing I've ever done on the internet. Went by the name of Wynautfan there. Missingno. Master 11:59, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Guys, there are some pokemon RPG games similar as Pokemon Crater. Tppcrpg.net and Pokemonindigo.com User:squiggle

Mmm...

Don't mind me, but don't you think that this article is a litle too in depth for a side article. I mean it's not an official game, it's just a fanmade game which I think only needs a mention... Tell me if I'm wrong, I usually am. TESHTALK FUN 22:53, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

I can't make up my mind. It's unofficial...but it's popular. --Jackowaco 18:06, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Well, I say it should be kept to one page. If people are willing to put in so much detail, then they should do it. But seeing as it is unofficial, keep it to one page. TESHTALK FUN 16:08, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

Not to forget that PokemonCrater is closing soon.... {{User:Jason/sig}} 16:29, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

I would be prepared to argue for the in-depth information if it wasn't about to become redundant in under two weeks. As it is, I'm just going to remove it at that time. Just don't set any precedent by this. --FabuVinny T-C-S 03:36, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

Is It Back?

Is this real? Porygon-Z 20:02, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

I signed up, but it is barely anything--KukiTalk 20:31, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
It's a spritual successor. The guy making it wasn't even a member of the original Crater. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 18:59, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

sucessor

Should Pokémon battle arena, which is said to be the successor of Crater, have a section in this article? Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 03:50, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

The Revival section seems to have some information and links to another article. —darklordtrom 21:55, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

Legality

I am just curious as to why this game wasn't sued or shut down for copyright/trademark violations, because I want to make something like this but with Pikmin, but don't want that to happen to me...Bulbear4444 20:28, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
