BTW, just to make sure, you can transfer pokemon from colosseum to Ruby or Saphire using only a wire and GBA, right?  Thanks.  --Combine 108 03:06, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Why are we consistently referring to Rui as "the girl"? TraxScrip813 (talk) 11:42, 13 October 2016 (UTC)

:New comments to the bottom of pages please. All Pokémon not from the same game get that bonus, whether they are traded from another handheld game or transferred from Colosseum. ::Sry and sry again as i can't create the indent on my blackberry =/(computer's broke)[NVM THAT, if the coding is standard then i know what to do ^^] and didn't know about that so thx for the info ^^, got anothher question though, but i don't know if it belongs here =(; howcome my latios (training it in colosseum) isn't learning the moves it should at the specific lvls where it should occur? (-Cipher- 21:14, 26 July 2010 (UTC)).
:::Are you looking at the Gen III learnset? They do change between generations, and Colosseum's a gen III game, so it's different from what you see on the Latios page (the Gen IV learnset). If it's not that then I don't know what it is. <span style="color:#2D4B98;">Werdnae</span> <small><span style="color:#009000;">(talk)</span></small> 02:29, 27 July 2010 (UTC)

Deoxys Formes
From what I've seen, Deoxys only appears in its Normal Forme in Colosseum. I have a couple of questions, though:
*If it comes from a GBA game, do its stats stay the same? (E.g. A Deoxys from FireRed keeps Attack Forme's stats)
**If yes, is the Speed Forme compatible since Emerald came about a year after Colosseum?
*If it's traded to Colosseum, would its stats change to the Normal Forme's? (I think so, but want to make sure.) MagicBarrier 16:40, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

Pokemon Colosseum Rerun
I have dug up my Gamecube and Pokemon Colosseum game, and I plan on playing it through again. However, this time I would like to gather up as much information as I possibly can while doing so. It seems that many of the articles on Colosseum are lacking a substantial amount of information, as opposed to the GB-line of games. This is the primary reason I am going to record everything I come by, whether I would be proof-reading what is already on Bulbapedia, or adding something for the first time.

I have looked through the current articles on Colosseum, many of these being mixed with XD (which I may get to after I am done with Colosseum), and I have figured that the most important topics to record are:
*Characters - to record information on all characters in the game, as in what they do, their importance, what they look like, and so on, as demonstrated by the Colosseum Characters category.
*Locations - to record all locations, including cities/towns, and key areas, as demonstrated by the Colosseum Locations category.
*Pokemon - to record all Pokemon available through normal means of finishing the game (e.g. snag-able Pokemon).
*Trainers - to record the names and locations of trainers, rewards they give, Pokemon they have, the moves these Pokemon have, and so on...
Is there anything else I should be looking for? I am not interested in the topics such as prizes that can be redeemed via Poké Coupons, for example - as these can easily be recorded after the game has already been completed. I would rather focus on collecting information on the topics that grow throughout the storyline, as they change while progressing through the game, and usually become irreversible in that sense. Locations may fall under the former category, but while immersed in the storyline of Pokemon Colosseum, I will be in a more appropriate mindset for writing up information on locations as the story flows along (it should be a good escape from the monotonous work of recording the more statistical data).

Does anyone have any comments, ideas, or anything at all to add? I would just like to get some opinions and whatnot so I can make this project as productive as possible. Thank you.

: IMO, It would be nice to put information about where and from whom each snaggable Pokémon is received into the list. And the purified moves; right now it's not obvious how to get to them. The type, on the other hand, is not that important. --&#91;⁄⁄⁄&#93; En‐Cu‐Kou 08:44, 30 September 2011 (UTC)

shouldn't it say west not wes. kingsisle

Main series?
Do Colosseum and XD qualify as main series games? I've seen them referred to as both, even within Bulbapedia, so I was wondering. (Or does this need to be on another talk page?) Ikarishipper900 02:46, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
:We discussed this on the forums, and came to the conclusion that there are three groups of games: main series, side series, and spin-off. Colosseum classed as a side series game, and despite everyone agreeing, nothing was ever done about it. --<span style="color:#A70000">Snorlax</span><span style="color:#0000A7">Monster</span> 02:31, 8 July 2011 (UTC)

In Other Languages
This article is, oddly, missing its "In Other Languages" section. I would add it myself, but I don't have the time make one.

For the record, the Korean title is: 포켓몬 콜로세움

(Although this game wasn't released in Korea, this is still its official name in Korean.) -- Nick15 22:37, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
:Don't have to make the table by hand. Go to another article that has a "In Other Languages" section and copy the table. You can use that as a base for adding that to this one. Hope that helps. == fateful encounters ==

do the legendaries and e-card pokemon really have fateful encounters because as far as I can tell only Pokémon from XD are treated as having fateful encounters when transferring up Wild Starfish (talk) 21:33, 27 March 2020 (UTC)

Can you get more than one Ho-oh if you do Mt. Battle over again?
If you got Ho-oh after doing the Mt. Battle challenge in Battle Mode, can you do it again to get another Ho-oh? Do you have to trade the first Ho-oh to a game pack and do the challenge again to get  the other Ho-oh? Has anyone ever done this before?
