Line breaks

According to this, the table should have a <br> between the Pokémon's name and the quanity. So, why is it being removed? Chocolate (Chat with Me) 03:17, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

I'm guessing because it doesn't stretch the table any, as far as I can see. And you have to admit, it DOES look awful the other way... Still, I'm only guessing here. I'm Missingno. Master. Come see my new and improved user page, and tell me what you think! 03:19, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
Your guess is correct. And I also explained why in my edit summary. Maybe someone should read more often, maybe they will find the answers to their annoying questions. MaverickNate 03:20, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
But having a line break shows that the quanity is not part of the Pokémon's name. Chocolate (Chat with Me) 03:20, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
That could be guessed by the fact that the number isn't part of the link, though, couldn't it? I'm Missingno. Master. Come see my new and improved user page, and tell me what you think! 03:22, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
But it was also an EB decision to have the line breaks. Chocolate (Chat with Me) 03:24, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
Add to that, it's already in parentheses so there's no way to get confuse with the name. --☆Kevzo8 03:25, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
I also denounced that EB decision as a good enough reason in my edit summary. Think of a better excuse. MaverickNate 03:26, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

When did the EB say that the line breaks weren't needed? Chocolate (Chat with Me) 03:27, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

As far as I can tell, they're not needed whenever there's only one species of Pokémon owned, and thus, no need for consistancy. I think, anyway. I'm Missingno. Master. Come see my new and improved user page, and tell me what you think! 03:28, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
When did they say they were? And don't link me to that stupid talk page discussion, because that was for that one particular example that had both types. This only has one. MaverickNate 03:29, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
According to what I heard, Politoed666 is the one who said it, but when I asked him, he said he didn't remember saying it. Maybe you should ask him about it. Chocolate (Chat with Me) 03:32, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
