:Yes, the hail effect is gone, just a normal battle.  Pokemonemerfan1954 17:45, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

It seems to me that the item list needs to be divided into GSC and HGSS sections, as the pokemon are and like other routes/locations are throughout this site.  For example, in HGSS, an Expert Belt can be found here (in the Moltres cave), and the Expert Balt subsection on the held item list indicates it is found in Mt. Silver but is not on this page.  The maps also definitely need to be updated. --Jdthebud 03:54, 15 April 2010 (UTC)

Pokédex location
When viewed in the Pokédex, Mt. Silver is shown as a Kanto location, for example, if you look up Rapidash, it is not shown as a Johto location, but a Kanto one. Is it already in the article? Pokemonemerfan1954 17:47, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Generation 4 Pokemon
Let me start off by saying that I am a regular visitor to Mt. Silver (both grass and cave) for training purposes with my SS game. After taking a look at the Mt. Silver Pokemon section, though, I was rather perturbed by the fact that all the catch rates regarding the outside grass area and other sections of the Mt. Silver cave are missing.
My point: you can't get Ponyta, Rapidash, Doduo, Dodrio, or Tangela inside the cave, so why aren't they represented in an outside area section just like in Generation II? Is it just that nobody has gotten around to it yet?
I've already started keeping track of SS information and will have it posted as soon as I start getting really definite numbers for all of the areas in SS. I have access to HG info, too, and will gladly post it when I get solid numbers. (You all can email me your numbers, too, if you'd like! :) )--Tybear009 02:06, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
:Try and do that if you want, but it's best to do it the way we already do—look at the game data and retrieve it. By playing, you can miss some levels, and you certainly won't be able to give encounter rates. --<span style="color:#A70000">Snorlax</span><span style="color:#0000A7">Monster</span> 04:06, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
Layout
Akurochan has uploaded really good maps of Mt. Silver in HGSS to the Archives. These need to be implemented into this page. The question is, how? Mt. Silver was pretty much completely redesigned for HGSS, making a comparison between the Gen II and Gen IV sprites nigh-on-impossible. Add in the fact that it has multiple interiors and exteriors, and you have a situation where making a template to display these maps would be an almost Herculean labor. So is anyone up to this? --AndyPKMN 13:09, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
:Um... It's been more than a month. Does anyone have any ideas? --AndyPKMN (talk) 23:03, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
::When all else fails, just display it in a gallery. If I have time, I'll put it into fancier table. <span style="color:red">—<small>♥</small></span> <b><span style="color:orange;">Jello</span><span style="color:#3FA9D0;">talk</span></b> 23:21, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
I added what I could to the gallery, but we seem to be missing some (such as the entrance area by the Pokémon Center and the summit with Red). --AndyPKMN (talk) 11:46, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

It's literally impossible for those encounter rates to be correct... anybody have the real stats? Sidnoea 23:20, 12 December 2010 (UTC)
Extra Trivia
Could the fact that Red standing on the summit of Mt. Silver be a reference to the Rainbow song "Man on the Silver Mountain"? Videogames4all 21:13, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
