Raising the same stat more than once
Will Moody raise a stat more than once if it hasn't changed? For example, will it raise the Sp. Atk stat twice in a row if it hasn't been lowered? Mangaman13 (talk) 16:49, 5 April 2014 (UTC)

- On consecutive turns, Moody can raise the same stat twice, yes. The only things it won't do are simultaneously raise and lower the same stat, or raise a stat that is at +6 or lower a stat that is at -6. Whether a stat has been previously raised or lowered has no effect on if Moody will affect it, except when the stat has been raised or lowered so much that it cannot be done. --SnorlaxMonster 16:56, 5 April 2014 (UTC)
Dependencies
If the Pokémon has all of its stats at +6, will Moody still decrease a stat? Conversely, if all of its stats are at -6, will Moody still increase a stat? Is one required for the other? --SnorlaxMonster 12:20, 21 February 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, Moody will still decrease a stat for a Pokémon with all stats at +6, resulting in one stat at +5 and the rest at +6. However, the question remains on whether anything is affected differently for all stats at -6. When all stats are at -6, is there no change, is there only an increase, or would this be the only exception for the same stat being raised and lowered in one turn? Regarding the research template on the page (If all of the Pokémon's stats are at -6 before a stat is raised, will a stat still be lowered?)
I did some experimenting with a friend and, like the case when all stats are at +6, the game will only attempt to increase one stat, and will not attempt to lower any other stat since they're all at -6.
If anyone wants/needs a battle video for proof, please tell me.
