:It doesn't always work like that. The Isshu dex may have Pokémon that are already known, like how Magikarp and Gyarados are found in the Sinnoh dex. Since they're already in the National dex, the Sinnoh dex doesn't match up exactly with the National dex. The same probably goes for Isshu, so we'll just have to wait until we know exactly what it is. ::This is old, but since it's confirmed that there are only Isshu Pokémon in the Pokédex, and because Minezumi was assumed to be 504 because its Dex number is 10, shouldn't this be assumed as 571? I don't mean to interrupt, but it shows '(Japanese: チラーミィ Chillarmy) is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation V.' which states Chillarmy's Japanese name is the latter, when it is actually: Chiramii is the Japanese Name, whereas Chillarmy is the Romanization, a.k.a English name. -Naruruler12

:Please sign your talk page comments with four tildes, <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>. Also, Chillarmy doesn't yet have an official English name; that is the trademarked romanization that has been trademarked by Game Freak in the Japanese Patent Office. Basically, it's Gamefreak telling us how the Japanese name is ''meant to be'' pronounced, rather than how the katakana would literally be pronounced. Every Pokémon in Generations I through IV is the same way. You can see all of the trademarked romanizations on the [[List of Japanese Pokémon names]]. --[[User:Phantomjunkie|<span style="color:red">Phantom</span>]][[User talk:Phantomjunkie|<span style="color:black">Junkie</span>]] 14:36, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

== Gender Ratio ==
I have a question about Chillarmy's and its evo's gender ratio as to whether it is actually 75% female and 25% male. Has this actually been proven to be true as it seemed that they were a 50-50% ratio when I was playing white (numerous males appeared). I also feel to bring this up as it seems that Chillarmy and its evo doesn't look that feminine as much as well in my opinion. Therefore, I was just wondering if it is actually confirmed that this is the ratio? -Cadet Furret 21:48, 30 September 2010 (UTC)
== Minccino's Shiny Form ==
Would it be notable to add that Minccino's shiny form is a reverse of it's evolution's shiny form? The ear color becomes the fur color and vice versa? [[User:Mokoniki|Mokoniki]] 19:39, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
:No, because it would be sprite trivia. --[[User:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#A70000">'''Snorlax'''</span>]][[User talk:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#0000A7">'''Monster'''</span>]] 12:23, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
== Thoughts on the English name's origin ==
I'm not sure if the "cc" is supposed to be pronounced as "ch", bringing in the Chinchilla influence to the name. Would it be worth mentioning in the name origin section? [[User:HyperJerk|HyperJerk]] 21:16, 10 January 2011 (GMT)
:When we hear the English name pronounced (in the anime, Stadium-like game, etc.) we can make a {{m|judgment}}. --[[User:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#A70000">'''Snorlax'''</span>]][[User talk:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#0000A7">'''Monster'''</span>]] 02:02, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
::For me, I pronounce it like Capuccino. However, until we here it in the anime, for all we know its pronounced "mink-seen-oh" or something. The anime might {{p|Bonsly|contradict itself}} as well with different pronunciations in different episodes and/or movies. Also, this causes an idea to come to mind.
::I know that we don't put pronunciations in Pokémon articles because of the debates people have had over them, but can we possibly include how their names are pronounced in the different episodes and/or movies in the anime if their name is said at all. If there was different pronunciations in different episodes we could list the different ways like this:
::*Pronounced "PRONUNCIATION HERE" in EP617.{{tt|*|just an example}}
::*Pronounced "DIFFERENT PRONUNCIATION HERE" in ''The Rise of the Butterfree.''{{tt|*|again, example of a movie title}}
::Does anyone understand what I'm suggesting?

== Tail Slap ==
Would it be worth mentioning in the Triva that Minccino is the only Pokemon to learn Tail Slap via level up? Considering it is it's signature move? [[User:Buizel1991|Buizel1991]] 00:22, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
== Professor Juniper Mincinno ==
I got Pokémon Black to help complete my Pokémon White Pokédex. Very first Pokémon I see that a Shiny is the Mincinno that Professor Juniper shows you. Apparently that Pokémon can be Shiny too... and you can't catch it. T_T [[User:PKMN Soldier Berlioz|PKMN Soldier Berlioz]] 02:48, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
