Recently visited an exhibition in Cambridge UK about tombs of Han Dynasty China, 2nd century BC. Among the exhibits were earthenware figurines representing court dancers of the period. Such dance and dancers are occasionally seen in Beijing today. | |||
Such traditional dancers seems to be very strongly echoed in Meinshao. Being something of a Pokemon fan, this notion stuck in my mind while studying the exhibits.
