Shouldn't this page be called User:The Great Butler/Mewtwo (M16) instead of the one it is titled now because the naming now is treated as an actual user instead of an article in the userspace? PattyMan 21:19, 2 July 2013 (UTC)

Much better. PattyMan 23:01, 2 July 2013 (UTC)
Sorry about that, I must have messed up the link when I typed it. I initially wrote "Mewtwo (Unova)", then remembered to go back and fix it. When I did that I must have accidentally taken out the backslash. --The Great Butler (talk) 02:26, 3 July 2013 (UTC)
It's alright, mistakes happen. PattyMan 03:01, 3 July 2013 (UTC)

Move

I support the move to "Mewtwo (Best Wishes series)". The title has to reflect that it appears in both the movie and the special. --The Great Butler (talk) 01:04, 16 July 2013 (UTC)

Seconded. There's no other way to also reflect its appearance in Mewtwo — Prologue to Awakening, yeah naming it with "Unova" maybe, but then the first Mewtwo would also have to be named with "Kanto", while it also appeared in Johto. So Best Wishes seems the best option. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 01:10, 16 July 2013 (UTC)
I also agree; additionally, even if the other Mewtwo allowed just "Kanto" as a possibility, we don't know yet (to my knowledge) whether New Tork City is in Unova, Decolora, or elsewhere. Naming by anime season seems to be the most elegant and accurate disambiguation technique possible for these two articles. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 01:16, 16 July 2013 (UTC)
Sorry for an against opinion. Not too suggest to make as "Unova". M16 means the Mewtwo appears at this movie. But the anime one was a character of an anime episode. KyleRGiggs 04:01, 22 July 2013 (UTC)
Both Mewtwo appear in anime episodes (Mewtwo — Prologue to Awakening, EP063/065) and movies (M16, M01/Mewtwo Returns), so keeping the other one at "anime" is not an option; nor is identifying either by their movie, since it's not the only thing they appear in. Psystrike

How is Psystrike depicted in the manga adaptation? I ask because Mewtwo may have used it in the anime as well - twice it used an attack where it created a bubble of psychic energy around itself that explosively enlarged to physically damage things around it. The first was in Mewtwo — Prologue to Awakening when Danku's machines captured it, and the second that I know of is in the movie when Red Genesect tackles Mewtwo into the side of a building. It then uses the attack that may be Psystrike to blast Red Genesect away. --The Great Butler (talk) 08:07, 30 August 2013 (UTC)

Judging by your description, it's the bubble attack. Ataro (talk) 08:20, 30 August 2013 (UTC)
Here is a gif of the attack I'm describing: gif If this is Psystrike, it needs to be added to the list of moves used at least by the regular form. --The Great Butler (talk) 23:03, 31 August 2013 (UTC)
As for the manga adaptation, the Japanese version of it announced サイコブレイク (Psystrike's Japanese name) during the same time Mewtwo used it which was why it was depicted there. PattyMan 23:09, 31 August 2013 (UTC)

Moves

Is there any real reason for splitting it into moves it used as regular Mewtwo and after Mega Evolution? I mean, come on, it's the same Pokémon, it's not like Mega Evolution changes its moveset or anything. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 05:48, 22 December 2013 (UTC)

Transform / Mega Evolve

Depend on the appearance of Mega Diancie, if there is neither any Mega Evolve logo when Diancie transform nor there is a Mega Stone, it should be considered as "transform into Mega evolve state", not "Mega evolved", as the condition of Mega evolve doesn't met. If so, Mewtwo would be also have a wording change, for "Mega evolve" replaced by "Transform". However, the Mega Mewtwo Y could be retained. Is that okay? Raymond 15:09, 18 July 2014 (UTC)

I think the trivia should mention that it was seen mega evolve without either mega stone or a trainer--Elveonora (talk) 16:10, 20 July 2014 (UTC)
Well. As the Mega evolution logo was seen on Diancie, I'd change the wordings into "transform into Mega Mewtwo Y" instead of "Mega Evolved", Thanks. Raymond 15:27, 4 August 2014 (UTC)

Two move templates?

I brought this up on the page for Korrina's Lucario... is it really necessary to have two separate move templates for Mewtwo and Mega Mewtwo Y? Mega Evolutions, unlike form changes, don't gain or lose moves so there's really no point in having two templates for the same information. Couldn't we simply include the Mega Evolution move pictures with the others? Watchermark (talk) 10:48, 23 July 2014 (UTC)

Grammar help

I noticed this run on sentence: "As it saw that the forest Pokémon, as well as Virgil, Anna, and Oscar, were trapped in the middle of the fire, it used its Psychic powers to lift a large pool a water off from a nearby lake, and make it rain over the forest, putting out the fire."

I tried editing this, and changing the "a" to "of", however I am not good at this. Can somebody better please fix? TeiMoe–>Tell me how I'm doing 04:01, 20 December 2015 (UTC)

I've changed it a bit, whether it's better or worse I'll let other users decide.--ForceFire 04:22, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
Thank you ForceFire . I know I'm not good at keeping the right word tense (i.e. making, make) lol TeiMoe–>Tell me how I'm doing 04:51, 20 December 2015 (UTC)

Current location: Unova?

Again, I'm pretty certain New Tork City is in the Decolora Islands, not Unova. TheFatPanda (talk) 20:36, 18 September 2016 (UTC)

I agree, because the movie premiered in Japan during the Best Wishes! Season 2: Decolora Adventure arc. MH (talk) 11:19, 17 December 2016 (UTC)
