I find no information pertaining to whether mega evolution affects the ability to use a Z-Move in any way. Does this mean the trainer can both mega evolve a Pokémon and unleash a Z-Move in the same battle? Please reply.[[User:Elite4Alola|Elite4Alola]] (talk) 01:49, 16 January 2019 (UTC)

:You need to hold a mega stone for mega evolution, while you need to hold a z-crystal for z-moves. there is no way you can hold two items at once, so it is either mega evolution or z-moves. Rayquaza cannot use z-moves if it mega evolves. -Pokeant (talk) 02:32, 16 January 2019 (UTC)

::If you're asking if it's possible to both Mega Evolve and use a Z-Move in the same battle with two different Pokémon, than yes, it is possible.--Rahl (talk) 02:36, 16 January 2019 (UTC)
