Well, I saw this on ht14's help page... and to spruce this page up, we could make a table that shows the Pokémon and their In-Game small sprite. Something not unlike List of Pokémon by color.--♫Green♫ギャラドス♫Talk♫ 02:25, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

Go for it. —darklordtrom 02:26, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
TTE's quote. LOL. The only issue is that not all are listed... that's my issue... ht14 02:28, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
Actually, correction. My question is if this info can be found online besides Bulba... ht14 02:30, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
Anyway, what template should I use?--♫Green♫ギャラドス♫Talk♫ 02:34, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
Maybe something similar to this/Elite Four. i.e. no template... ht14 02:43, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
An adaptation of {{Moveentry}} would work. I.e. {{Moveentry|natdex|name|numberoftypes|type1|type2|notes|}} —darklordtrom 02:46, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
That works too... ht14 02:50, 2 October 2009 (UTC)

Diurnal doesn't equal morning

Now this is strange: this article on diurnal Pokémon here says that it refers specifically and only to "morning Pokémon". That's certainly not true. "Diurnal" means simply having to do with the day, as opposed to the night.

I'm going to change this to be for both morning and day, if people don't mind. Most Pokémon in this list already appear in both morning and day only. For the few Pokémon like Ledyba that appear in the morning only, a "morning only" note will be added.

Really, though, the only objection should be that morning and day Pokémon (maybe) should get their own separate articles, which is reasonable to me…but then you've gotta change more things (i.e. renaming Diurnal to Morning plus making a Day Pokémon article). Don't make this morning/day. It should be Morning only. If there is a word for that, move this page. --SnorlaxMonster 05:05, 1 November 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the reply. There is indeed a third word: crepuscular. This forms a trio of zoological terms for active times of behavior: diurnal, crepuscular, and nocturnal.
Unfortunately, crepuscular can refer to dusk as well as dawn. Should I still rename this article to "Crepuscular Pokémon"? (The alternative is to rename both Diurnal Pokémon and Nocturnal Pokémon to Morning Pokémon and Night Pokémon respectively.) Redletterday 00:13, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
Fine, if there is no proper term for this, we can just make it "Morning Pokémon". --SnorlaxMonster 12:25, 24 November 2010 (UTC)

Renaming

Echoing the argument above, this article should ideally be renamed Matutinal Pokemon, as Diurnal means to be active during the daytime (Diurnal Pokemon need their own article too) XVuvuzela2010X 10:25, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

Mistake on Growlithe

In the Gen II section of the page, Growlithe is given Arcanine's menu sprite. Can not figure out how to fix it. Can somebody make the change to the proper sprite.RedTheGuy (talk) 00:12, 12 April 2018 (UTC)
