- If you'll notice, most if not all of them do. They're translated from the Japanese games. When they're out in English (which is April 22), then we'll start changing them to the English version. Since... well, we won't know before. Tom Temprotran 11:16, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

No it is like shellder it latches on and more can too or... in DP it stays in your party so it CAN deatach.

Breeding
How do you breed a mantine to produce a mantyke? I tried to breed one with ditto but got a mantine?? - unsigned comment from Malagajm (talk • contribs)

Following the example of Nincada's evolution into Ninjask, I placed Remoraid's menusprite in the evobox much like the Pokéball sprite is in that evobox. It was then reverted however. Discussion?--MisterE13 05:21, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

Different forms
According to the Pokedex it has a different shape on it's back in different regions. Is it ok to add to the trivia section that it will probably have a different shape on it's back in HeartGold or SoulSilver? or does this belong in the forums? Evolution note
I had a Remoraid and a Mantyke level in the same fight and both were supposed to evolve but the Remoraid was first in the party and evolved first and the mantyke didn't. Should there be a note of this on the page? Spellunker (talk) 23:58, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
BDSP locations
