:It's because many people were signing up for this wiki for the main or sole purpose of using the userspace as something along the lines of a blog, Myspace, or gaming center. I'm an admin on a James Bond wiki (I won't give the link unless I'm allowed as I don't intend to spam) and it looks like you guys have a very strong, large community here. This is definitely one of the better independent wikis out there from what I've seen of it.
