:I get your point that in Japan the English name of the games is "Pokémon Ruby" etc. after RS, but I'm not entirely sure what you're suggesting. The italic English text next to Japanese names is supposed to be a translation of the text, and there is a katakana difference between "Pokémon" and "Pocket Monsters", so they are translated as such where appropriate. It is important to note that the Japanese text does say "Pocket Monsters", as in Japan the main series is officially the "Pocket Monsters series" [http://www.pokemon.co.jp/game-series/].
