needs disambiguation with Courtney (TCG GB) - Jshadias 06:29, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Spanish name?

I'm not sure if her Spanish name is Carola. Because we had Matt's Spanish name listed as Matias before and his name is really Tolo not Matias. Silvina and Tatiano are correct because I brought those names to Bulbapedia (I remember them from Spanish Emerald). But I'm not really sure about that Carola. Can anyone check it out? --Maxim 10:54, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

In Pokémon Emerald

Does this character appear in Pokemon Emerald? --PikamasterADV 20:07, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

I was wondering the same thing. It seems she doesn't. --Maxim 14:37, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Name

Why is this article's name Magma Admin courtney, why not move it to courtney?--Pokemonguy1 My talk page (haha, no link for you) 03:45, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Because Courtney is a dab, thanks to this lady. — THE TROM — 04:03, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Image

Since she has no game or anime artwork whatsoever, why not put her Special image as her image like Daisy Oak? Lovely Rose 17:51, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

Linking?

Would anyone mind adding a "If you meant the Grand Master Courtney from Pokémon Trading Card Game (GBC) then click here." ? Frozen Fennec 23:09, 13 August 2015 (UTC)

Courtney is already a disambiguation. I don't see how anyone could mistake a link to this page for the TCG GB character or vice versa. glikglak 23:15, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
Did not notice the page existed, thanks for pointing it out. Frozen Fennec 23:20, 13 August 2015 (UTC)

Move

At this moment, all the Magma and Aqua members from the core series have their pages at just <name>, whereas Courtney and Matt's pages are at <Team> Admin <name>, presumably because of the Courtney from the TCG video game and the Matt character-of-the-day from the anime. Since core series use generally outranks other canons, I propose that Courtney and Matt be moved to match the other members, and that the disambig pages currently at their names be moved to "Courtney (disambiguation)" and "Matt (disambiguation)". We can then link to the disambig pages with a hatnote. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 15:30, 13 March 2017 (UTC)

I agree. I certainly don't want to delay a decision here by making this a more general issue, but isn't this also closely related to this issue again? Nescientist (talk) 16:36, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
I support this move. I feel like it separates itself from Anabel because the other admins already have the simpler page names, whereas Anabel is the only Frontier Brain to be brought back and, therefore, necessitate a move. AmoongussForLife (talk) 18:17, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
I see no reason not to go ahead with these moves. bwburke94 (talk) 08:25, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
i agree with this as well. Let's go through with it. --LavaringX (talk) 23:27, 31 December 2018 (UTC)

I think Courtney needs to be changed to Courtney (disambiguation} but I think Magma Admin Courtney should be left as it is to avoid confusion as there are TWO Courtney characters. Frozen Fennec 15:18, 6 February 2019 (UTC)

This sort of confusion is usualy solved with the italic note on the header of the page. Considering that the other Courtney is a character from a spin-off game, a core series character has much more relevance, so I agree the pages proposed by Pumpkinking should be moved. I agree, I think Magma Admin Courtney is more notable than the TCG video game character and should have the Courtney page title. Matt is a trivially easy case, where he's competing with a character of the day, so of course the significant villainous team admin gets priority. --SnorlaxMonster 11:02, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
Seconding the move to Matt. Courtney I think could do either way, although the Magma Admin should certainly take priority if we were to decide not to have a disambiguation page.--Bardock 06:26, 30 March 2019 (UTC)
