Party change spoilers

So, the new poster seems to have the main characters Pokémon, with some changes to the lineup. Evolutions (Serena's Fennekin, Clemont's Luxio and Jessie's Pumpkaboo) and some new Pokémon (Florges, Noivern, Gothita and a Snorlax). Should the pages for the possible evolutions be protected, or isn't this enough evidence? ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 11:36, 13 December 2014 (UTC)

There's actually 13 Legendary Pokémon and 2 Mythical Pokémon; M13 has 13 Legendary Pokémon and 1 Mythical Pokémon counting Pokémon in the intro (15 Legendary Pokémon if you count the Dialga/Palkia statues in the ending). --SnorlaxMonster 12:48, 16 February 2015 (UTC)

Just checking

In the pokemon characters, Hoopa (anime, both forms) is listed followed by Hoopa (Unbound form). Is there a reason for the second hoopa if the first says both forms? I thought of removing it but thought I would check if it is needed first. Masser (talk) 23:07, 11 May 2015 (UTC)

As shown in the most recent trailer, it seems there are two separate Hoopa in the film, one of which is allied with Ash, Latios, Latias, and Rayquaza, and the other one allied with the other legendaries. Additionally, each different Pikachu is listed as a separate character, so it seems each separate Hoopa should be as well. Skyarrow 04:06, 12 July 2015 (UTC)

Dubbed

If it's aired in Australia and New Zealand in the English dub, shouldn't we remove the undubbed template? Just because it's not available to most people who live in different continents or pirated yet doesn't mean it never aired in English. - PokémonGamer* 05:17, 7 November 2015 (UTC)

Cartoon Network Airing

It seems an edit war has been started through a user reading a Facebook post claiming the movie will air dubbed on Cartoon Network on Saturday November 7th. This Facebook post does exist, however the page it is on does not appear to be legitimate as its posts are often poorly written, and it links to an illegal upload of M17 that was removed from Youtube some time ago. We can therefore fairly safely conclude that the information posted on it is false.--Bardock 06:24, 7 November 2015 (UTC)

Star Wars reference?

Remember when Chespin & Pancham are using the tools as toy swords? Could it be a Star Wars reference? Especially with The Force Awakens.Unowninator (talk) 23:07, 21 December 2015 (UTC)

Definitely not enough evidence to support any relation to Star Wars, could be anything with any sort of swordfighting. Especially since this movie was first released in Japan wayyy before Star Wars The Force Awakens was even in theaters. Swiftgallade46 (talk) 06:22, 22 December 2015 (UTC)

color scheme

why does this article have the ORAS color scheme when it CLEARLY doesn't take place in hoenn? ok ok i understand why the prequel to M18 has the ORAS colors, but this really should have the XY colors. my userpage talk 16:03, 4 November 2021 (UTC)

The color scheme reflects the period the movie was released in, in this case, during ORAS. M13 is set in Sinnoh but uses the HGSS color scheme because it was released during the HGSS period. M08 was set in Kanto but uses the Emerald color scheme because it was released during Emerald's period. If we wanted to have the color scheme represent the region it's set in, we'd use the region colors, not the game colors.--ForceFire 16:16, 4 November 2021 (UTC)

i understand why M08 doesn't use the FRLG colors, because ash literally challenges the battle frontier. and why is M13 the HGSS colors? we know from the games AND pokemon adventures (i'm not a manga reader, so hooray to bulbapedia for all i know about pokemon adventures) that HGSS takes place before DPPt. so here's my take on the movie colors:

M01 RGB
M02 Y (light color is yellow, medium and dark colors are orange)
M03 GS
M04 C (revolves around celebi, the central figure of a crystal-only event)
M05 FRLG (features gen 3 pokemon)
M06 RS
M07 ORAS (revolves around deoxys, the final boss of the delta episode)
M08 E
M09 HGSS (features gen 4 pokemon)
M10 DP
M11 DP
M12 BDSP
M13 Pt
M14 BW
M15 B2W2
M16 B2W2
M17 XY
M18 XY
M19 XYZ
M20 SM
M21 USUM (features zeraora, a pokemon introduced in usum)

You clearly did not read what I just wrote. The color scheme are based off the game period the movie was released in. M13 has HGSS because it was released during the HGSS period. M08 has Emerald because it was released during the Emerald period. Using the BDSP colors for M12 or the ORAS colors for M07 is blatant misinformation, as they were clearly not released during those games' periods. Again, if we wanted the color scheme to match the region that movie takes place in, then we'd use the region colors, not the game colors.--ForceFire 05:04, 5 November 2021 (UTC)
