Ok... who honestly believes that this movie would be rated PG-12 in Japan? Goldchaos 17:52, 30 October 2005 (CST)

Possibly...A source on that would be good, though. FabuVinny 10:27, 31 October 2005 (CST)
I don't believe it. I don't even believe that Japan uses the same rating system as USA ... --nYoo 10:29, 31 October 2005 (CST)
I'm wondering if they even rate movies on that kind of scale. Here in Malaysia we only have 3 basic levels - Universal, 18 or above, and Restricted. So most of the PG-13 movies and series that come here get cut (further). According to Wikipedia: [[wp:Motion picture rating systems#Japan|]]. Hmm, it even mentions Pokémon:
"since Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys, the Pokémon Advanced movies for their sci-fi violence (i.e. the tsunami in Mew and the Castle of Chaos and the final battle with the Regis.)" (Castle of Chaos, huh?) - 振霖T 08:30, 1 November 2005 (CST)
What do R-ratings cover in Malaysia if 18 is obviously 18-and-up? --Argy 16:12, 1 November 2005 (CST)
I'm guessing they took whatever info that was posted on the IMDB as fact, since that's is the only source of the PG-12 rating for Destiny Deoxys in Japan. Problem is, IMDB also says Fox distributed the movie in Japan. As for the Mew and Castle of Chaos bit, one word: Movietome. Goldchaos 19:43, 1 November 2005 (CST)

Shouldn't we include an article on the Deoxys here? I don't have the DVD but I think one of you guys can write an Article on the two Deoxys and the one in Deoxys Crisis. Agent 448δ | DP 15:06, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

Battle Tower

"This movie marks the first animated appearance of a Battle Tower," Actually, I seem to recall the Johto Battle Tower appearing (albeit very briefly) in Fight for the Light. Bardock 14:29, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

it did, i think we should remove that trivia SpecialK Leiks Lucario and The Celebi Glitch 11:15, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

SpecialK Leiks Lucario and The Celebi Glitch 11:15, 1 January 2010 (UTC)

Ok... i'll give it a go. It was actually on Pokemon.co.uk, but they shut down about 5months ago, so i'm going to wait 'till they say it again. SpecialK Leiks Lucario and The Celebi Glitch 16:26, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

In terms of the anime episodes when abouts does this episode take place? - unsigned comment from Bhillybillybob (talkcontribs)

"This movie premiered in Japan between the episodes Sky High Gym Battle and Lights, Camerupt, Action." It's on the page in the trivia section. R.A. Hunter Blade 01:10, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

nz rating

Im trying to find the new zealand rating. It would either be g or pg.Ive search through all auction sites but they dont mention rating.--Solid! 08:49, 26 January 2010 (UTC)

So is it Jan 22 or Feb 15 for the home video?

The info box says Jan 22 for home video, while the cover says feb 15. Is that right or did i miss something?--Midnight Blue 20:57, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

I think there was a mix-up somewhere. As far as I can tell, the home video date is indeed February 15, which in 2005 was a Tuesday, the standard day of the week for new DVD releases. January 22 was a Saturday in 2005. Odds are someone mistook the January 22 airdate, which is when it first aired on television, and labelled it as the DVD release date without knowing better. --Shiningpikablu252 22:25, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

Dutch dub cast

I've watched the movie in Dutch, and I noticed that the whole main voice cast was different from the series and other movies, except Brock's voice. It's the same with Wish Maker. I'll recheck, but I'm sure this is a totally different cast. Should this be noted in the trivia section? Like the mention of the different voice cast of the Latin American dub. Search and Rescue mission

When Ash, Max, and Brock go to retrieve food for the others, they find that hot-dog machine. But when the Deoxys clones attack, they visibly drop ALL of their hot dogs and run. Then they lose Minun and find a storage room full of water, but there didn't seem to be any food left. How'd they manage to get some back to the hideout? - unsigned comment from ZeroExalted (talkcontribs)

Maybe they went back out and picked them up again once the clones had gone? Werdnae (talk) 00:30, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

Pokémon in Brazil

When I saw the translated Title of the Pokémovie I almost laughed, in Portuguese "Alma Gêmea" doesn't mean literally Twin Soul, a better translatio would be Soul Mate, because it means the same thing about "Alma Gêmea", a being that only exists for another (Plusle and Minum, the two Deoxys), but sometimes love but that's not the case since Deoxys is a Genderless Pokémon. Ruby

Is it worth noting that Ruby makes a cameo with his Swampert in the opening of the movie? Nuckles123 (talk) 20:09, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

Sorry put this on the wrong pageNuckles123 (talk) 20:11, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
Not that it matters because that's not Ruby. Ataro (talk) 20:36, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
