:::Yes, the present description is a little short, also I think it should be two images rather two composed into one. --Raltseye prata med mej 17:44, 5 February 2018 (UTC)

The episode "Three Directors" had a bit in which Stewie says that Peter was killed while chasing a Pokemon into a street, which is referencing the Pokemon GO controversies IAm Mimikyu

Parodies removed. Is this temporary or is the page being split?
:Being split. Whatever fits the criteria is being moved to the Bulbapedia:Sandbox/List of Pokémon Parodies for now, which will later be mainspaced when it's good to go. ==New Criteria - Respect them! ==
Now that the page is in the process of being cleaned up, the following are the requirements for any new entries.
*The reference must be explicit. It can't be that something "looks like" a Pokémon character, Pokémon logo, etc.
**If you're not sure whether something is Pokémon, or feel that you need to ask, or feel that you need to say it "resemble" a Pokémon: do not include it.
*The reference must be significant: Minor mentions and background appearances are to be listed separately.
**It can't be just a mention of the existence of the Pokémon franchise (like "Pokémon? That used to be popular here" or "Pokémon is going to be on TV soon!")
**It must be something lasting: a celebrity or politician name-dropping Pokémon in a speech or interview is not significant unless the reference itself become particularly important.
**It must be more than costuming or accessories: characters wearing Pokémon clothes, or Pokémon items appearing in the background of a scene, or one-shot sight gags are background references.
*Game shows questions and factual mentions of Pokémon in news and similar shows are not references or mentions.
*People mentioning Pokémon in an interview (or in a speech, etc) is not a reference, unless the speech's mention of Pokémon become particularly notable
*The reference must actually be to Pokémon itself. Parodies of Pokémon (things that look very much like the Pokémon franchise, but deliberately have another name, like Chinpokomon) are listed separately.
*Websites can only be included if the website itself (not its creator) has its own Wikipedia entry.

:It's been pointed out to me that a useful rule of thumbs to distinguish between mention and reference is asking yourself whether you can easily replace Pokémon with Digimon (or with a random specific digimon) in the sentence. If the dialogue still works largely the same after making the change, then it's a mention (and doesn't warrant inclusion). If this significantly alter the sense of the dialogue, ruin the joke, require altering a lot of lines, or require hunting down a very specific digimon (instead of using any random digimon) to keep the sense intact, then what you have is a reference, and may warrant inclusion on the list.
:Examples:
:*The Doctor flooding downstairs with Pokémon to distract people: here, "I flooded downstairs with Digimon" does not work, because the joke and plot rely on the specific Pokémon Go game and its mechanisms. This is a reference.
:*The "Arceus" comment in House: here, "Agumon invented hundreds of poison" doesn't make much sense. A specific Digimon might work for the joke, but since we have to figure out a very specific digimon, this joke relies on the characteristics of a specific pokémon: it is a reference.
:*In the Ghost Stories example, a broadcast "begins right after Pokémon". Changing this to "right after Digimon" result in a sentence that means the same thing: it's a mention, and should be left out.

Webcomics
Where would references within a webcomic go in this page? Comics? Websites? A new section entirely? --Lone_Garurumon 07:26, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
:Website, if they meet the condition (eg, the specific webcomic must have its own wikipedia entry). --Evie (talk) 18:20, 3 May 2018 (UTC)
Game & Wario
In the "Gamer" minigame in Game & Wario, one of the screens on 9-Volt's TV features a bear that strongly resembles Teddiursa running alongside two rabbits. Is this noteworthy? Here's a video with the time stamp (look at the TV): BNKTalk 21:50, 6 February 2019 (UTC)
:It's a very general bear picture, I don't think it's overly noteworthy --Spriteit (talk) 01:01, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
Solitaire
A book called Solitaire by Alice Oseman mentions Pokémon about 3 times, but I don't know if it should be here or on this page. It was played by the protagonist and a childhood friend when they were young, then when they meet up they talk about how they use to play it together. It's a very minor appearance but is mentioned multiple times and talked about in full conversations. Pallukun (talk) 14:02, 15 January 2020 (UTC)
Private Practice
Mason, one of protagonists's son plays TCG Pokémon in several episodes, he indeed mentions several Pokémon names to another kid too, is it count to put on the page?
The Emperor's New School
Not a lot of people know about this, but there is an episode of the Emperor's New School with a segment called "Llamaballs" which is a parody of Pokemon with elements from Dragon Ball and the title of it is even done in the style of the first dub season.

Borderlands 3
In Borderlands 3, there is a legendary grenade mod named "Moxxi's Bouncing Pair" where its red text say "Prepare for trouble, and make it double." referencing Team Rocket's motto. Daniel92234 (talk) 16:20, 5 September 2020 (UTC)
Plague Inc.
So I've played Plague Inc. and one of the possible news is "Gamers start worshipping helix fossil". Should this be added to this page or the Twitch Plays Pokémon page? MageMagius (talk) 05:18, 15 December 2021 (UTC)
Edit : The news say : "Gamers worldwide starts worshipping helix fossil" MageMagius (talk) 05:20, 15 December 2021 (UTC)
Craig of the Creek
There's an episode of Craig of the Creek titled "Evolution of Craig" that pays homage to Pokémon and has a few references to it. DeinoVulpixfan18 (talk) 13:25, 23 May 2022 (UTC) DeinoVulpixfan18
MinuteEarth
I'm not sure if it counts but the channel MinuteEarth has multiple Pokemon references, like here where they put Iono and Grusha.--Rocket Grunt 15:04, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
:Brassius was also there, but Youtube doesn't count. It would probably become a very long list. CrazyPikmin (My Edits) 15:47, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
