Deletion

Why do you guys always delete my account of the De-Stick Glitch? Wildgoose December 10 2011 6:13 (ET)

It's not a glitch. It's intentional. It's specifically mentioned in the official guidebook. (P.S. Use ~~~~ to leave your signature after you comment.) —darklordtrom 01:11, 11 December 2011 (UTC)

More glitches

There have gotta be more glitches other than Mystery Dungeon. Doesn't Pokemon Stadium JP, for example have glitches?- unsigned comment from JacobTheDoduo (talkcontribs)

I'm sure they do, but no one has added them yet. Feel free to add some if you do find them. --Spriteit 12:25, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
Also, Pokémon Stadium JP is a side game not a spin-off, so glitches in it would go on List of glitches in Generation I (under an "In the side games" section that doesn't exist due to a lack of known glitches). --SnorlaxMonster 12:51, 15 February 2012 (UTC)

pokemon ranger

surely Pokémon ranger has glitches?Pachirisupancakes (talk) 19:02, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

If a glitch is found, it shall be added to the page. :) Frozen Fennec 19:31, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

Magnagate and the Infinite Labyrinth

Are we sure that's a result of a glitch and not just leaked experience catching up? There's no way to check without a video. Bliumage (talk) 07:18, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

I think I found a new glitch...

In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky I think I found a new glitch. I tried to evolve a Nincada at the Luminous Spring and my game CRASHED! My save data was safe, though --PalkiaMaster- 0100100100100000010000010100110100100000010001110100111101000100 23:30, 19 July 2014 (UTC)

It's not a rare occasion, it happened to me the second time I tried... Either that, or it's a problem with my US copy of the game (I'm saying that because it might US game only, or an issue with my game itself) --PalkiaMaster- 0100100100100000010000010100110100100000010001110100111101000100 03:04, 20 July 2014 (UTC)
This is a known glitch in Sky that occurs when a Pokémon's name is exactly ten characters long. I'm assuming your Nincada has a nickname of that length. Since it's been well-documented on other parts of the internet, I'll add it to the article shortly. -- Umbee (talk) 17:54, 28 July 2014 (UTC)

I nicknamed it "Nintendead" (10 characters) --PalkiaMaster- 0100100100100000010000010100110100100000010001110100111101000100 02:30, 30 July 2014 (UTC)

Mystery Dungeon palette morphing

I can't find a whole lot of information on this glitch, but I've had it happen to me in Explorers of Time/Darkness, and other people online say it can happen in Red/Blue Rescue Team. No idea about Explorers of Sky. As far as I know, the cause hasn't been identified. Sometimes, when a wild Pokémon is encountered, it will rapidly shift between its own sprite, and the sprite of another Pokémon that can be found on the same floor. In addition, it will always have the color palette of the Pokémon whose shape it currently isn't taking. So when it happened to me, I encountered a Pokémon that shifted between a Remoraid with Cradily's palette and a Cradily with Remoraid's palette. However, the glitched Pokémon is identified by the game as a single species, and will have the moves and stats of the Pokémon it is supposed to be. Recruiting the Pokémon will end the glitch, which in my case gave me a Cradily with the correct sprite and colors. As far as I can tell from my research, it's only an aesthetic glitch and has no effects on gameplay. -- Umbee (talk) 17:54, 28 July 2014 (UTC)

Sticks?

Should there be a glitch to do with sticks? Lemme explain

I'm playing PMD Blue Rescue Team. I have say, 36 sticks in the inventory. If I find a stack of 6, it fills up that stack of sticks to 42, because max is around 99 or something.

Well when you buy it from the Kecleon store and you have no full stocks, it'll create another pile in the inventory, so there's 36 and 6 both at the same time.

If you place it on the ground after buying it it just acts like regular sticks do and replenishes your stock (so the example would have 42 sticks in one pile after this fix)

Noteworthy to put down? I've only seen this in Blue so far but I wouldn't be surprised if it's either fixed or not in T/D/S as well. Pinkolol16 (talk) 04:52, 17 April 2015 (UTC)

when you add a video in the pokemon rumble series...

...make sure it's the out of bounds glitch for rumble world. please. --Valehd (tAlk) 00:30, 20 July 2015 (UTC)

I need help, please, anyone. I made the video for the Out-Of-Bounds Glitch, and I discovered it and shared it on the internet way before Bulbapedia did. I want to post it on Bulbapedia with my name on a tag, like those grey ones and pinks. I'm very new to Bulbapedia, and I hope we can all get along. It's on my YouTube Channel, Rechord's Channel. Please help me. I don't want to do something bad... Rechord (talk) 05:50, 18 September 2015 (UTC)

Move reason

Well I guess someone didn't read the message from the editor

Effective immediately, new requirements regarding the use of four templates that are extremely important to the continued improvement of Bulbapedia have been mandated:

When using the templates {{Split}}, {{Merge}}, {{Move}}, and {{DiscussDelete}} to nominate articles for administrative action, a section outlining the rationale for the nomination must be added to the article's talk page. Nominations lacking an outlined rationale will no longer be considered.

An outlined rationale helps to expedite administrative action, and helps to prevent confusion and misunderstandings that can result in mistakes. Keep in mind, the staff aren't mind readers, and not every nomination reason is obvious.

Keep the conversation in one place. It's difficult to read a conversation when every other comment is on a different page and it means the page history can be used to check the history of the discussion. This also allows third (or fourth) parties to join in if relevant.

Discovered new Shuffle glitch, need help researching

It's a graphical glitch that happens seemingly very rarely when Gengar Mega Evolves, in which one Mega Gengar icon will stay frozen in place until the next move is made. Other icons can fall under it and be moved, but they'll be obscured until the Mega Gengar disappears. Its animation will stop, and it won't dim with the rest of the field in instances where that would happen. Got a picture here. What I don't know is exactly what triggers it (only had it happen twice, so I don't have a lot to go on), or if it happens on platforms besides Android. Can anyone help? -- Umbee (talk) 00:37, 2 January 2016 (UTC)

Egg Gym glitch?

If you put an Egg into an empty Gym, does your team claim the Gym the egg is in? Please state that on the page, it's confusing otherwise. ▶Signed, Kirbychu Showdown(User talk:Kirbychu Showdown)-Glitch Studier 16:02, 22 October 2021 (UTC)
