:::::::::::You don't need to know the "cause" (internally), but it's definitely nice if it can be reproduced reliably. You've done it successfully at least twice, apparently. How much more have you tried it? How much have you failed or succeeded? Can you at least try to figure out a ''pretty'' reliable way to cause it (a way that will work more often than not)? In this sort of case, being overly specific would be better than being too generic. If there's one particular way that works always or most of the time for you, writing exactly that would be better than being too generic (even if another way can work, but is less reliable). ::::::::::::Okay, it seems Speed is the key; you got to move quickly. Well, I've never been great at Language Arts, so if I write it alone, chances are it's going to need to be redone. I wonder what we should call it? I'm thinking "Weird Pikachu Walk", but I feel like we could do better. Any ideas? :::::::::::::What you had before was better. I think maybe Pikachu follow delay glitch would be alright. (Titles use sentence case.) [[User:Tiddlywinks|Tiddlywinks]] ([[User talk:Tiddlywinks|talk]]) 18:24, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
:::::::::::::Oh, and (if you're alright with it) you could include your video too. [[User:Tiddlywinks|Tiddlywinks]] ([[User talk:Tiddlywinks|talk]]) 18:26, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
Well, I just added it. I hope it's okay. [[User:Unowninator|Unowninator]] ([[User talk:Unowninator|talk]]) 19:37, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
:I said it right above. Let me emphasize it once more in the hope that perhaps it will sink in.
:Titles here use SENTENCE case. (Please try to remember it.) [[User:Tiddlywinks|Tiddlywinks]] ([[User talk:Tiddlywinks|talk]]) 19:49, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
::No, I saw your sentence and I mistakenly thought you meant capitalize the 1st letter of each word. ;_; *sighs* [[User:Unowninator|Unowninator]] ([[User talk:Unowninator|talk]]) 20:12, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
::And by the way, I saw that before it was reverted. [[User:Unowninator|Unowninator]] ([[User talk:Unowninator|talk]]) 21:29, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
:::The reverted edit was by an impersonator. The account has been dealt with. [[User:Tiddlywinks|Tiddlywinks]] ([[User talk:Tiddlywinks|talk]]) 22:32, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
::::<nowiki>*</nowiki>checks history* Ughh, I can't believe I fell for that. Now I'm glad I didn't say anything else. [[User:Unowninator|Unowninator]] ([[User talk:Unowninator|talk]]) 22:51, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
== Gate access restriction and cycling road access requirement bypassing ==
These look like the same glitch, in both cases someone is using the method mentioned on the page to get onto cycling road when they don't have a bicycle, just at different gates. Unless there's another gate not connected to cycling road that shouldn't require a bicycle but does? Or something else that makes the gate access restriction glitch distinct that isn't shown in the video? [[User:Megalorex|Megalorex]] ([[User talk:Megalorex|talk]])
==AI Glitch in Erika's Gym==
When fighting any trainer in Erika's gym in Pokemon Blue, if the player's active Pokemon is Ivysaur and the opposing trainer's Pokemon knows Poison Powder, the opposing Pokemon will ''only'' use Poison Powder (which has no effect on Ivysaur) every turn until the player knocks it out. Presumably this also occurs with Bulbasaur and Venusaur; I have not tested with other grass or poison Pokemon, and have not yet tested in Red or Yellow. I'm guessing the AI is programmed to give poisoning the player's Pokemon a higher priority than any other move, and does not take into account if the target is immune. The decision may be affected by the Ivysaur's level. [[User:Thelonesoldier|Thelonesoldier]] ([[User talk:Thelonesoldier|talk]]) 18:08, 3 October 2016 (UTC)
:Poison is super effective against Grass (Ivysaur's Type 1). That's how the "smart" AI works in Gen 1 (most known example is Dragonair's Agility vs Poison and Psychic Pokémon). --[[User:Froggy25|Froggy25]] ([[User talk:Froggy25|talk]]) 21:04, 27 January 2017 (UTC)
== Was "Indoors fishing oversight" really fixed in Pokémon Yellow? ==
Yesterday I tried to fish in [[Cerulean Gym]] in Pokémon Yellow, and I succeeded. (See [[:zh:File:华蓝道馆 钓鱼.png|this picture]] in Chinese 52poké wiki.) So I doubt if this glitch was really fixed in Pokémon Yellow? ——[[User:Xzonn|'''''<span style="font-family: Monotype Corsiva;">xzonn</span>''''']]([[User Talk:Xzonn|Guestbook]]) 00:14, 27 January 2017 (UTC)
:According to the [[Cerulean Gym]] page, the Old Rod and Good Rod work, but the Super Rod doesn't. If you can confirm that, feel free to correct this page. --[[User:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#A70000">'''Snorlax'''</span>]][[User talk:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#0000A7">'''Monster'''</span>]] 04:04, 27 January 2017 (UTC)
::I've tried in the game. It seems that you're right. Thanks for your answer.--[[User:Xzonn|'''''<span style="font-family: Monotype Corsiva;">xzonn</span>''''']]([[User Talk:Xzonn|Guestbook]]) 10:41, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
:::If you could double-check Lorelei's room while you're at it and correct that on the page (if it is incorrect), that would be helpful too. --[[User:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#A70000">'''Snorlax'''</span>]][[User talk:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#0000A7">'''Monster'''</span>]] 11:14, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
== Ditto glitch ==
I noticed that neither the article nor the discussion mention this glitch. If the player follows certain procedures, the player can get a wild Pokemon of whatever species he/she wants. I don't know enough about the glitch to add a complete section, so I just wanted to make sure the people who read this page are aware of its existence. These are my sources. http://pokemondb.net/pokebase/277756/ditto-glitch-guide-help?show=277756#q277756 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_mMUZgeSNQ [[User:Sumwun|sumwun]] ([[User talk:Sumwun|talk]]) 20:04, 27 February 2017 (UTC)
:The Ditto glitch is covered on the [[Mew glitch]] page. I've never been a fan of that title (the glitch community most commonly calls it the Trainer-Fly glitch), but I've never had a chance to restructure and rename it. --[[User:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#A70000">'''Snorlax'''</span>]][[User talk:SnorlaxMonster|<span style="color:#0000A7">'''Monster'''</span>]] 01:27, 28 February 2017 (UTC)
