+Update: Okay, so it does happen with the Purity Zone thing, I just tested it successfully, but when I did it again for miiverse pics, it had no results. +:Combine it with the Celadon Gym tree/{{m|Cut}} glitch and go ahead and add them as one glitch. (It's the same basic cause.) And for some reason, so far no one has (ever) mentioned that Pikachu can be positioned on top of a cut tree the same way the player can so that, if you save and reload, Pikachu is standing on top of a tree. Can you tell me: is that possible or not? Because when all you're saying is that it's possible at Celadon Gym after a battle&mdash;for some reason ''completely ignoring'' the normal save/reload Cut glitch&mdash;it makes it seem like the save/reload method isn't possible, like there must be some ''different'' reason Pikachu glitches on top of the tree after a battle in Celadon Gym. +::::::Okay, now I get where you're going with this. With the tree thing, it regrows whenever a battle ends or the game reloads. I assume that after a battle, it regrows the tree where Pikachu just so happens to be standing. But this glitch is just... different. I'll try to see if I can get this camera to work, but it's harder than recording a Smash Bros replay where I don't have to push the buttons during recording. I'll get back to you, hand on... When I did the video successfully, I pushed (B) instead of (A), a bit quicker, and then moved immediately rather than delaying a second, so one theory is speed. Another guess I have is the number of steps I take from when Pikachu faints, but I don't know how I can possibly test that without Sweet Scent. +:::::::::::You don't need to know the "cause" (internally), but it's definitely nice if it can be reproduced reliably. You've done it successfully at least twice, apparently. How much more have you tried it? How much have you failed or succeeded? Can you at least try to figure out a ''pretty'' reliable way to cause it (a way that will work more often than not)? In this sort of case, being overly specific would be better than being too generic. If there's one particular way that works always or most of the time for you, writing exactly that would be better than being too generic (even if another way can work, but is less reliable). +When fighting any trainer in Erika's gym in Pokemon Blue, if the player's active Pokemon is Ivysaur and the opposing trainer's Pokemon knows Poison Powder, the opposing Pokemon will ''only'' use Poison Powder (which has no effect on Ivysaur) every turn until the player knocks it out. Presumably this also occurs with Bulbasaur and Venusaur; I have not tested with other grass or poison Pokemon, and have not yet tested in Red or Yellow. I'm guessing the AI is programmed to give poisoning the player's Pokemon a higher priority than any other move, and does not take into account if the target is immune.
