:Probably the {{wp|tarasque}}, as stated in the [[Talk:Pupitar_(Pokémon)#Name_origin|other]] [[Talk:Tyranitar (Pokémon)#Name_origin|talk pages]]. My question is why is it ok to mention the tarasque for {{tt|Larvitar|I get that it is based on the Pokédex entry, but still}} and not for the rest of its {{p|Pupitar|evolu}}{{p|Tyranitar|tions}}? I feel like adding the part that "tar" comes from "tarasque" is necessary for the Larvitar, Pupitar and Tyrannitar pages because everyone else might wonder too. Besides, not all people might know what a tarasque is. | |||
