Romanisation

Shouldn't he be Kōya, or is there a reason why his name is spelt so in the article? (I wouldn't be surprised if Viz names him Koya, but it's long way for Viz to release Volume 6. It may take more than a year!) --Maxim 14:46, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

Well you and another user read more manga than some other users.....--☆Coolピカチュウ! 20:59, 24 January 2009 (UTC)
Well, "Kouya" would be the romanisation I'd personally use, just like how I'd personally use "Kaisee" over "Kaisē"... But by the guidelines in the Manual of style... Yeah, Kōya would probably be the way to go until we see how Viz spells it. (Personally, I'd see Viz most likely going with "Kouya" over "Koya". Could swing either way though. ... Or heck, I suppose Kōya could be plausible considering some of their romanisations in Dragon Ball.) --Sato 12:22, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
Yeah. I also prefer Kouya and Kaisee, but the the MoS does not. --Maxim 09:23, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
The MoS was made by the man and Kōya/Kaisee sound better (depends on how you romanize it...--☆Coolピカチュウ! 09:32, 31 January 2009 (UTC)
Okay, so I think I should move it. There are not many links, luckily. --Maxim 09:33, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Name

His English name is Koya, as revealed in DP Adventure 5. --The Great Butler 02:17, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

Have a scan of the of it? --Coolピカチュウ! 02:18, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

Clothes...

Say, doesn't his clothes (or his jacket, at least) look extremely much like those of the HG/SS-Rival? Could be trivia-worthy? FireMeowth 22:42, 6 March 2010 (UTC)

No, Koya came before HGSS. Comparisons aren't trivia. -Sketch 22:45, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
Yeah Sketch, but Silver was the rival in Gold and Silver also, and wore the same jacket. Just pointing that out, not siding with FireMeowth. (No offense!) Loghomewill 02:25, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
Actually, Silver's jacket was different in Gold and Silver. And this discussion was from March. --AndyPKMN 13:02, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
