This week I watched the subbed version with my Japanese penpal while she visited me and there is no mention of Jessie (and James) being 25 years old. In the subs Jessie said Misty was 10 years too early to think about love-hate relationships, then James said they don't think about it yet which means they less than 20. In the episode with the test Jessie said she's 17, this is more likely as she and James is the same age and considering James' parents still trying to force him into marriage he can't be older. My friend Michiko confirmed the sub we saw is accurate and that the screenshots I've seen where it said "five years older" is mistranslated, so therefore Jessie and James' maximum age as of the second movie is 19 as they're not yet 20. They appear in the Pokémon games, which is the only criteria stated in the category's page for which articles apply to it. Also, their articles are under the categories for characters that appeared in the games that they appeared in, so I'd assume they should also be under the general "Game Characters" category too. | |||
