The "Christmas present" line was the dub of the line in question. They didn't say specifically that they came from Giovanni, but they said that they were received as mid-year/end-of-year gifts, which are usually given by one's employer as thanks for the work done in the past year. --Argy 13:39, 27 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I don't think they would stay in one place forever. They could have possibly moved to different places because of reasons. You never know unless it's actually confirmed. - _spontaneousCombusken 02:14, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

Present

I know there is an older talk page convo on this, but i thought i'd bring it up again, seeing as the actual page doesn't reflect what's needed. Jessie's Ekans was recieved as a birthday present only in the English dub; it was a seasonal gift in the Japanese. Faint Attack?

I know Arbok is unable to learn Faint Attack, but in Spring Fever Jessie commanded it, should it be put in the moves section.

Fang Attack

In episode 231 Jessie orders Arbok to use Fang Attack to try to steal Ash's Phanpy egg. She says Fang attack not bite or crunch so it should probably be listed as an attack. Shambles12 (talk) 01:30, 10 December 2012 (UTC)

Ash's Pikachu has its own list of improv'd moves, so why not Jessie's Arbok as well? And it uses 'Fang Attack' on multiple occasions. (see the comments above) Shambles12 (talk) 05:06, 11 December 2012 (UTC)

To be entirely honest I don't think it belongs on that page either, because "fang attack" is just another way to say crunch. It defiantly doesn't belong on a list with moves that are exclusive to the anime like ice aqua jet. TheBlazikenMaster (talk) 01:50, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

Many Attacks

I have noted that Jessie's Arbok has seemingly way too many attacks, at least within the anime series, so I wonder if this is purely to make the series more interesting? Either way I think it would be interesting to note all of her Arboks attacks - I am currently up to rewatching season 5 and have noted the following attacks so far (from memory):

- Tackle - Poison Sting - Wrap - Leer - Bite - Headbutt - Fang

I realise in the games etc. an Arbok can be taught many more, but I just note over all other pokemon in the series Arbok has many more e.g. Ash's Pickachu only has - Thundershock, Thunder and Agility (at least up to Season 5)

This really isn't anything new. Charizard has used 18 moves. Pokémon can learn more than four moves, this is not like th games where it is strictly four moves. Also a Pokémon is never seen using more than four moves in an episode (with the exception of Drake's Dragonite).--ForceFire 13:08, 11 April 2014 (UTC)
