Page move

Now that M18 aired in Japan, shouldn't this page be moved? PattyMan 16:12, 19 July 2015 (UTC)

Agreed, I actually asked Glik about this on his talk page not knowing this page was here. I think it's time to send it out. CycloneGU (talk) 23:59, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
While I'm fine with it, I want to confirm if Confined Hoopa and Unbound Hoopa are the same entity, and if not, discuss some way to some way to differentiate two. - Chosen of Mana 19:28, 25 July 2015 (UTC)
One of the images I saw of the Hoopa manga online suggest that both of the Hoopa are different Pokémon as both of them were seen at the same time. PattyMan 00:08, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
The movie storyline I've read suggests that there are two different Hoopa in the movie. One is with Ash and Pikachu, and the other is the Unbound one. I can't speak for the manga, but I believe the game representation is meant to be the same Pokémon. CycloneGU (talk) 01:15, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
The summary from Dogasu's Backpack said that the Unbound Hoopa who appears before Ash, Hoopa, and company is Hoopa's power manifested. As such, I think it's safe to say they are one and the same, making Hoopa both the protagonist and the antagonist of the film.. - Chosen of Mana 17:36, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
From what I can tell, it's just one Hoopa. The "other" shadow Unbound Hoopa is just this Hoopa's original powers manifested and come to life due to the Prison Bottle smashing. They are the same individual Hoopa, split into two bodies.ScraftyIsTheBest (talk) 16:09, 29 July 2015 (UTC)

How to list the Pokémon

I propose that the Pokémon section be treated like a regular trainer's Pokémon tab as far as possible, given the nature of the way the two Hoopa summoned them. A "controlled" section would cover the Pokémon that were manipulated by Unbound Hoopa's power, while a "summoned" tab would cover both Confined Hoopa's legendaries as well as Reshiram/Zekrom/Regigigas, which were not controlled by Unbound Hoopa like the others, as well as the Pokémon from the prologue OVA. The Hoopa's Appear Plan!! ones would be separated into their own tab due to their much more insignificant nature, and arranged in the grid layout already seen here while the others get regular info boxes. I can put together a sample if you'd like. --The Great Butler (talk) 04:09, 18 August 2015 (UTC)

Second page

I noticed a page with very little edits involved. As such, I think we should transfer all of the content from that page to this page. PattyMan 00:36, 9 September 2015 (UTC)

Kyogre/Groudon

Weren't the Kyogre and Primal Kyogre, and Groudon and Primal Groudon confirmed to be the same Pokémon even though Hoopa summoned them in two different time periods and their transformation method wasn't seen? PattyMan 02:58, 21 December 2015 (UTC)

Steelix and Dragonite

Why aren't they listed in Unbound's set of Pokémon summoned? The Great Butler (talk) 02:40, 21 January 2016 (UTC)

Hyperspace Hole

According to the "List of moves by anime debut" page, Hoopa used "Hyperspace Hole" in SS034. But neither this page or the move's page list this occurrence. Was the debut listing in error, or has that move just not been added to the two aforementioned pages yet? (Until next time... Anon e Mouse Jr.) Anon e Mouse Jr. (talk) 01:36, 11 February 2016 (UTC)

The debut listing was an error, I fixed it. PattyMan 02:11, 11 February 2016 (UTC)

Ability "unknown"?

Shouldn't it just say Magician instead of "unknown" because Magician is the only Ability Hoopa can have in the games? --CuteShaymin (talk) 17:41, 15 April 2024 (UTC)

Unless the ability is confirmed through dialogue or animation, Pokemon with only one ability in the games remains unknown as it is never shown in the anime.--BigDocFan, Junior Admin Bulbapedia (talk) 17:51, 15 April 2024 (UTC)
