Text from pokemon-sunmoon.com

"Guzma is the boss of Team Skull who holds these ruffians together. Guzma pours on the attacks, battling without mercy. He certainly does seem strong, but he claims to be one of those who “never could become captains.” He seems to have a bone to pick with Professor Kukui, as well." Should this be added to the article? It says so on http://www.pokemon-sunmoon.com/en-us/team-skull/. Lokki (talk) 15:55, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

This information is more or less on the article already, but paraphrased. --Carmen (Talk | contribs) 15:59, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

Guzma is listed as being a Z-Ring Trainer and Key Stone Trainer, but his teams possess neither a Z-Crystal or Mega Stone (and I checked the mined into, too, for such hold items)...so why? Kai * the Arc Toraph 10:20, 9 December 2016 (UTC)

I haven't done the Battle Tree myself, but I know that Guzma is fightable there. You sure he doesn't use either of those in the Battle Tree? --Voltdetector (talk) 11:13, 9 December 2016 (UTC)

Guzma's name origin/etymology

Does anyone else think Guzma might be named after Joaquín Guzmán (aka El Chapo Guzmán)? They're both famous crime bosses.- unsigned comment from X65943 (talkcontribs)

Relation to Ilima

Is it worth mentioning the relationship between Guzma's trophy collection and Ilima's? All of Ilima's trophies are gold (i.e. first place), whereas all of Guzma's are either silver or bronze (i.e. second or third place). They also both live within fairly close proximity of each other, with Guzma living just outside of Hau'oli City, maybe due to him feeling like an outcast. It seems possible that Guzma and Ilima have some sort of rivalry. Scribbl 02:41, 31 March 2017 (UTC)

Guzma's active period was probably before Ilima's (which I think is still current). If I had to guess, I might wager he was contemporary with someone like Kahili. But either way, there's not enough to say anything for sure, it's just speculation. Tiddlywinks (talk) 03:45, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
