Generation V
Just a heads up: it's being reported by multiple sources (SPP, PokéBeach, PokéJungle) that Growth's effect has been altered in Generation V; it now boosts both Attack and Special Attack by one stage. The source for this information seems to be this blog entry from the BW Bus Tour.

Beta Name?
Page 4 of Pokémon Power volume 2 states, "Bellsprout often begins the battle with Catapult, which will increase the power of its special attacks." This leads me to believe that Catapult may have been a beta name for Growth. Would this be worth mentioning either here or on the Pokémon Red and Green beta page? --Bardock 00:31, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
