::::::::It's called a retcon or inconsistency. And if they had known about Dragonite as a species, why didn't Bill mention that the mystery Pokémon was one? And don't tell me that Bill didn't realize the Pokémon's species due to never getting to fully see it, he had recorded the Pokémon's cry.
