On this page it says that the move quadruples the chance of getting a critical hit. On the [[Critical hit]] section of damage calculation, it says that Focus Energy increases the critical hit chance by one stage. Looking at the chart shown there, increasing by one stage is considerably less of an effect than quadrupling. Which is correct? [[User:Yenreb|Yenreb]] 15:51, 29 April 2009 (UTC)



Assuming that focus energy increased it by 2 stages instead of 1, I believe this is being represented inaccurately anyway, as only if it is unaffected by any other critical hit enhancers would it quadruple the chance of getting a critical hit. For instance, if you used focus energy followed by a slash the critical hit chance would be 33.3% as opposed to 50% since it would be a stage 4 critical hit stage. This is all based on the chart in the damage modification chart however, so if anyone can confirm this it would be appreciated. [[User:Pheonid|Pheonid]] 22:54, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
