:::I'm pretty sure the sentence is referring to the Pokemon USING Final Gambit having the ability Sturdy, which of course is worth mentioning. If this isn't the case, I think it needs rewording. And if it is the case, does the move completely fail or will the user go down to 1HP (and do damage equivalent to that loss)? That might need clarification. The sentence does not explain if the user or target of Final Gambit is meant. And the result is great confusion... But it is very simple: Final Gambit is an offensive attack which causes the user to faint. So Sturdy of the target will work, Sturdy of the user will not. --- Pokémon  [[User:Pokémon|Questions?]] -- 13:11, 25 February 2012 (UTC)

How does it work? Is it based on the actual number of HP (i.e. 300 HP) or the percentage of the HP that the Pokémon has when using this move (i.e. 100% of its HP will deal more damage, than a Pokémon with 75%, however Pokémon with different number of HP will do the same damage if they are both at 100%) ? --[[User:SamuStar|SamuStar]] 09:43, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
