umm is this true cause I got the Darkrai before getting Cresselia in Pt? although it was through action replay *shot* Booker :) 08:34, 27 November 2009 (UTC)

Old items
I have to ask, is it even possible to get the older event items any more? if not maybe that should be added to the article.--BloPant 21:41, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

:I think it is for gen 4, by changing the date. However that was fixed in gens 5 & 6 and it is impossible to get the event items without hacking or exploiting a glitch. Pikachu3634 (talk) 12:54, 19 August 2014 (UTC)
::This is incorrect. You cannot change the date on your game to get events after they have ended. --<span style="color:#A70000">Snorlax</span><span style="color:#0000A7">Monster</span> 12:58, 19 August 2014 (UTC)

Wouldn't that also qualify for this page, since it can only be received through an event? Luna Tiger * the Arc Toraph 16:43, 21 January 2014 (UTC)

:Yes that would also qualify as an event item. <span style="color:magenta">Lady</span> <span style="color:orange">Ariel</span> 16:51, 21 January 2014 (UTC)

Eon Ticket/Southern Island in FRLG?
Since the Eon Ticket seems to have a description in FRLG, I assume it exists in the game code, but can only be obtained via hacking. If this is the case, I think this is worth a trivia note, otherwise information is missing on how to obtain it legitimately.
What is unclear to me after reading this and the Southern Island page is whether or not the Southern Island is present in the game code of FRLG and if it is accessible through a hacked-in Eon Ticket and/or position hacking. If it can be accessed through the Eon Ticket, this should be added to the Southern Island page, in all other cases (not present in the game code, accessible only through hacking) I think this is worth a trivia note too. — Molt (talk) 17:24, 19 February 2014 (UTC)
:IIRC, there's no Southern Island in FRLG's code. I might be wrong, though. Eridanus (talk) 17:40, 19 February 2014 (UTC)
::I don't believe Southern Island is in FRLG; rather, the Eon Ticket has a description because every RS item has a description in FRLG, even key items (e.g. the Mach/Acro Bikes, Scanner, and so on). The most common assumption I've seen is that these items have a description in FRLG to prevent problems if they were hacked as hold items and traded in. == Diancite ==
I don't think that Diancite should be an Event item, because it isn't distributed directly via Events (local or Wi-Fi or whatever). It should just be an Event exclusive item (items that can only be obtained by having Event Pokémon or Fateful encounter Pokémon in the party, or held by them). And if that's wrong, we should add some other items like Prison Bottle, Gracidea, Drive(s), Micle Berry, Custap Berry, Jaboca Berry, Rowap Berry,..., too. --Yen01 (talk) 09:06, 2 February 2015 (UTC)
