Shouldn't it be put as trivia that Empoleon is the only fully evolved starter who is not weak to the rival type(Grass-type against Empoleon) ? Pokemon94 02:48, 30 November 2010 (UTC)

Hmm? I remember actually doing super effective damage with a ground type move with Torterra on an Empoleon (for some reason despite it being a water type..must be the steel) Ataro 03:07, 30 November 2010 (UTC)

The lead Empoleons gender?

The description says the leader is the male with the biggest trident-crown. However, its Pokédex entries do not support this, they only mention "a leader" which, regarding the Pokémon species, can be male or female. Was this added due to the gender ratio or to reflect the behavior of real penguins?

It's been fixed. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 18:05, 29 May 2012 (UTC)

Empoleon Trivia

It should be added that Empoleon is the only fully evolved water-type starter that is not weak to grass. I previously edited this and added it in but it seems somebody went back and re-edited it back. - unsigned comment from Lordasbel (talkcontribs)

Force Fire already said in the edit summary that Empoleon is not a starter Pokémon, thus why your edit was reverted. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:17, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
Okay but the trivia for empoleon having the most resistances of any starter pokemon is there? so that makes absolutely no sense. Empoleon is, in fact, the final form of piplup, a starter Pokémon. So if the trivia for Empoleon having the most resistances of any starter pokemon is there, then there's some double standard I must not be seeing.
I would also like to point out that the trivia also says "Empoleon can learn seven HM moves, only excluding Fly, in Generation IV, the most of any starter Pokémon." How is this any different than "Empoleon is the only fully evolved water-type starter that is not weak to grass."?

Those will be removed as well. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 20:19, 3 November 2018 (UTC)
