The meaning of the Crystal Onix
Is this Crystal Onix just a case of alternate-colored Pokémon as hinted by the link? It appears to me that:
- It's actually an Onix that has lived underground so much time, its structure is becoming diamondish. Since Steelix hadn't be introduced yet, they made a crystal Onix which was more vulnerable to Fire than to Water.
- Or it's like any other Onix, except made of crystaline "rock" and that's why it's an inspiration for craftsmen.

Its an alternate colouration to me because it isn't the usual colour. TESHTALK 20:40, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
