Electric Soldier Porygon is definitly EP037, not EP035. Legend of Dratini is EP035. Someone needs to move this. -GreenGiant
Gah, I'm such a twat. Sorry. Heh, funny that I mixed it up with another un-aired English episode. XD - Ferret 01:55, 28 Feb 2005 (UTC)
Missing episode?
shouldn't pikachu goodbye be on the list since it aired before EP40? - pokeant
Fix the problem?
If flashing lights caused it to be banned, couldn't they just edit the clip so that it flashes at a lower frequency? If so, they could just re-air the episode. Also, they could add a warning at the start of the episode to not watch it in the dark. That's what they did to the video games.
- Yes, that has been brought up many times. However, it is also important to remember that this episode probably is a bad memory for those affected and a bad note on Pokémon's reputation. On top of that, the Japanese government banned any showings of the episode. It seems like an easy problem to solve, but there are many factors which prevent such. --Pie ~♪♫ 01:55, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
Just so y'all know...
There is a subtitled, but otherwise unedited, version of the episode online. Having watched it (no, I did not have a seizure), I can honestly say that it's a shame that the episode was never edited and re-aired--it was a really good episode. (And yes, they added a disclaimer.) Shippinator Mandy 19:11, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
Translation?
What is the real translation for this:
- でんのうせんしポリゴン
I looked around and found this:
- So it is the [u] plug to do, polygon

- ..Um..no... "でんのう" translates to "electric brain" (電脳), which we just call a computer. "せんし" is literally "warrior" (戦士) but is usually taken to mean "soldier." And "ポリゴン" is Porygon. (It's the same as the Japanese word for "polygon.")--Loveはドコ? (talk • contribs) 05:17, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
Ok, I was just looking at a Japanese translator when I got thinking... Tesh 21:21, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
It's Electric Soldier Porygon, not Computer Soldier Porygon. --Shiny NoctowlTalk | ContribsFile:Ani164MS.gif 19:00, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- No, it's computer. The "most popular" translation isn't always the "most correct" translation. Dennō means "electric brain," and a computer is certainly an electric brain.--Loveはドコ? (talk • contribs) 03:15, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
- Or, maybe it's "Artificial Intelligence Soldier Porygon"! This is off-subject but, I've seen the seizure clip and nothing happened to me except for minor dizzyne-{has seizure} Im a bulba 23:57, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
