The trivia section claims that Blue may not have caught the legendary birds, and that this could mean that only one of each exist. However, Blue said if he caught Mewtwo, he would've had 149 Pokémon. Meaning two would be remaining. One of these is Mew, so he would have had to have caught at least 2 of the birds. And if there's multiple of two of the birds, there's sure to be multiple of all three.
