Biology

According to the Pokédex entries, a Binacle is one of the tentacle things attached to the rock, not the two and the rock. Shouldn't the biology section be updated to say that. I'm not sure how exactly it will be worded though as there's always two attached to the rock... ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 10:57, 30 October 2013 (UTC)

EV yield

I don't know the exact EV yield, but the new Pokémon X & Pokémon Y: The Official Kalos Region Pokédex & Postgame Adventure Guide book says that defeating Binacles gives you EVs in Attack. Mangaman13 (talk) 20:12, 7 February 2014 (UTC)

Always watching

I used Sleep Powder to make a Binacle easier to catch, but when it fell asleep, all four of its eyes remained opened. I waited for the camera to zoom in just to be certain, but its eyes were definitely unchanged. I think this should go in Trivia, but decided to bring it up here first. --TheVeryBest 18:20, 12 February 2014 (UTC)

That's strange, don't think that has every happened to me (but if I recall correctly, I might have paralyzed instead). I'll have to check this myself. It is probably good that you brought it up here first, not sure if it is noteworthy or just a glitch or something. IDK. ----NateVirus(Talk|Contributions) 19:01, 12 February 2014 (UTC)
...Just did so myself, their eyes are definitely closed in my game. Their "eyelids" happen to be white (a lot of Pokémon are like that actually, their "eyelids" being the same color as if their eyes are open, basically their pupils flatten or something you get my point). Anywho...I think what happened with you was a glitch of some sort or the like. Does this happen with every Binacle you put to sleep? ----NateVirus(Talk|Contributions) 19:10, 12 February 2014 (UTC)
I tested it again, looked closely, and saw that I was mistaken. In reality, their small pupils become little crescents. The difference is so minimal that I missed it. P.S. Had I not removed your bullets (*), this reply would be on the same line as yours. The policy is to use : so please do so (even though I agree with you that bullets alone are superior). --TheVeryBest 02:53, 23 February 2014 (UTC)

Catch Rate

Is the catch rate 0 because we just don't have the info yet, or was that just overlooked? I know I've caught one so it can't be 0 according to the formula on the catch rate page. Chrystalclear (talk) 23:47, 31 May 2014 (UTC)

0 is the default for catch rate, so we simply don't have the info yet. Berrenta (talk) 00:18, 1 June 2014 (UTC)

Name?

Could Binacle's name come from the nautical term Binnacle? Judging on the wikipedia article, it /sort of/ looks like one, and the names are basically the same? Just an idea Magentafeelings (talk) 21:34, 28 September 2014 (UTC)

Sure, feel free to put it under Name Origin. --リックEO (My message board) 21:39, 28 September 2014 (UTC)

A caught Binacle

If a trainer catches a Binacle n the games, would it count as one or two of them? Harryghost (talk) 01:28, 15 March 2016 (UTC)

Just one. No different from Dodrio or Magneton or Weezing, really (or probably a few others I'm not thinking of). Tiddlywinks (talk) 01:33, 15 March 2016 (UTC)
Return to "Binacle (Pokémon)" page.
