:I did provide the reason in the summary. That template can be only used on those episode articles that have been aired, not on the ones who haven't, since we can't get the synopsis of an episode that never aired. So, that's the only reason for reverting it.  <span style="color:#FF0">♫♪</span><span style="color:#00FA9A;">エイデ</span><span style="color:#9F9;">ィニズ</span><span style="color:#FF0">♪♫</span> 15:02, 11 July 2011 (UTC)

If you watch the episode with the battle with Burgh Ash switched his Tranquill out for Sewaddle. Iris and Cilan also mention Burgh not knowing Sewadle's battle style, corect me if I'me wrong but Sewaddle never really battled until (if he did battle before Burgh at all) at least thees postponed episodes, and why else would Ash have switched them out. The whole "Dodge with string shot" thing seems a bit like it happened before and Ash didn't just make it up on the spot. I also think that it is fair to say the Team Rocket trio failed, Ginovani losing all hope in them, they do a costume change review there motto and return to catching Pikachu. :Remember that energy ball? Did Iris/Cilan/Burgh (or even Ash) know about it? No. Ash just took a shot and asked Sewaddle to use it and it worked. So, we can't assume anything on the basis of "Dodge with string shot" theory. As far as TR is concerned, nothing was mentioned about their failure or their previous mission. So, we can't speculate it. <span style="color:#FF0">♫♪</span><span style="color:#00FA9A;">エイデ</span><span style="color:#9F9;">ィニズ</span><span style="color:#FF0">♪♫</span> 12:20, 12 July 2011 (UTC)

Yes but for all we know Ash chceck his pokedex for that move, but yes I know we cant confirm the whole dodge thing but we can confirm that Ash did switch out his Pokemon.--<span style="color:#0047AB">Mega</span><span style="color:#E5E4E2">maxxor</span>-- 10:37, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
:True but he's done off screen switches a lot of times (spoilers, if you haven't seen the new Japanese episodes). So, we can't say anything on Tranquill's switch either. <span style="color:#FF0">♫♪</span><span style="color:#00FA9A;">エイデ</span><span style="color:#9F9;">ィニズ</span><span style="color:#FF0">♪♫</span> 10:45, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
::Dodging using string shot? Didn't Sewaddle spend all of BW018 doing just that? Or am I senile? Ash obviously knew he was skilled using String Shot to get around, so used it to his advantage. == Did you notice? ==
Did anyone notice in BW022 that the helicopter is shown leaving with only Professor Juniper and Officer Jenny. Now  for those who beat the games, recall just before getting the Light/Dark Stone. You go back to the Resort Desert. Team Plasma is there, so it can only be guessed that these episodes have been pushed to the end of the season. --Nathan2055talk 19:19, 15 August 2011 (UTC)

Some little info?
According to this, it apparently seems that these two episodes were indeed sent to the U.S. in order to be dubbed, reaching the dub staff and all, but they were prevented of actually dubbing them. Is this notable or useful in any way? --Gabo 2oo (talk) 04:56, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
:I am guessing that this could be put into the trivia. To elaborate a bit, we knew that the episode was fully produced at the production companies and sent to The Pokémon Company. In Japan's case, the episode was already put in TV Tokyo's lineup, set to air. Since TPCi is simply a subsidiary of The Pokemon Company, it was given access to the produced episodes as well (hence the tweet from Tom). Of course when the decision came from headquarters to skip the episode, TPCi followed suit. It is a cool little tidbit of information Gabo 2oo. - <span style="background:#96EAFF;border: 1px solid#0000FF"><b style="color:#FF0000">Vhayes</b><small>1992</small></span> 02:48, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
The official word on the episodes
According to the Pokemon Company of Japan when e-mailed and sources from TVTokyo, this episode and the next one are still slated to air in Japan.  This is why the ending to BW022 is unchanged and the preview for this episode retained, even being placed back on the DVDs even after it had been removed and replaced with a preview for BW023 in the initial printing of these DVDs.  Apparently, the retcon done in BW112 doesn't matter, since this anime tends to do loose retcons and forgets past details all the time.
The reason the episodes are taking so long to air is because they need to air on a Thursday in the normal time slot, but this would not only interrupt the schedule of the ongoing anime for one day, but for two days since a day would have to be given for Naruto to air two episodes in Pokemon's timeslot.  This was impossible to arrange during the Best Wishes' broadcast due to their specific placement in the plot, the "Season 2" rebranding of the series and all the issues that brought with it, plus the fact that the international dub had already retconned them out through BW022's alteration so they couldn't be aired while the BW dub was still going on.  Contrast with BW037 and XY024, which were single episodes and easier to work around the schedule of their respective shows and and put in the dub.
Therefore, these episodes will only air once a point in the XY is reached where taking two Thursdays off won't mess up the schedule, and they will only exist in the Japanese version of the show, as the dub has already passed them over. Lawrence 3 July 2015 (UTC)
Any proof on a source saying that it will air "once an airdate that does not interrupt the schedule of the current series has been selected"?
I'm quite skeptical about what is said that the episodes will air "only once an airdate that does not disrupt the schedule of the current series has been selected". Because I can't see any source anywhere that can actually prove of this. So I'm gonna challenge for this line of text to be replaced with "it is unlikely this will ever come to pass.". And I highly doubt that these episodes will ever air. Has anyone tried contacting TV Tokyo and The Pokémon Company about these episodes? If so, we really need proof of the response as well. —Platinum Lucario (talk) 15:19, 17 September 2016 (UTC)
Canonicity
From what am I found in web, in Japan events of this episodes is still canon, when footage isn't (it was several times recycled), I've also found a video on YouTube and blogpost, that is almost recreates almost whole plot--Michail2003 (talk) 17:58, 21 May 2018 (UTC)
