::Umm, just because Brock caught the Tauros himself does not mean that it belongs to him. If i should point out, Brock caught Vulpix, and even HE said that it didn't really belong to him. Also, we know he caught 30 tauros since the Safari zone allows 30 safari balls per customer, and the only ones he caught were Tauros (Otherwise, he would have referenced his other pokemon that he caught. In fact, Professor Oak said in the next episode they appeared in [and in the case of many countries outside of Japan, the first time] that they all contained Tauros.
