:It seems to be a pun on the ニホングリ (nihonguri), or the Japanese Chestnut. Considering the Apricorns themselves are literally bonguri no mi "Fruit/nut/seed of the Bonguri" in Japanese, this would make the most sense if you saw what a Japanese Chestnut looked like. == Glitch ==
Is there a glitch to stop them from growing? None of my Apricorn trees in SS have anything growing today, I haven't picked them since yesterday morning (and I have not tampered with the game or the system). The only thing different I did was I imported Pokemon from my FireRed game using the Pal Park, maybe that did it? I know they never really explain pokeballs, except on the anime and then only kinda, but has there been in any pokemon thing something that explained, in terms of accuracy relative to the depiction of pokeballs, how they work?
