Effect

Superpower inflicts damage and then lowers the user's Attack stat and Defense stat by one stat level each.

  • Until Pokémon Platinum, no Fighting-type Pokémon could learn Superpower, despite it being a Fighting-type move.
  • Superpower's German name is the same as the name for the ability Huge Power in German.
  • Interestingly, Deoxys can learn Superpower via level-up in Attack Forme, but it cannot learn the move via move tutor in any of its formes.
