Super Training is a new method of Pokémon training introduced in the Generation VI games. It allows players to train their Pokémon on the touch screen anywhere.

Super-Training Regimens

Super-Training Regimens, a part of Super Training, is a way to strengthen a Pokémon by making it face off against giant Pokémon shaped balloons in a football-like game.

Core Training

Players can use training bags for an easy boost to a Pokémon’s growth with Core Training. Players can earn training bags by completing Super-Training Regimens.

Super Training Base Stats

With Super Training, it’s not a Pokémon’s level that goes up but its base stats. In Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, players are able to raise a Pokémon's base stats far more easily than ever before by using to Super Training.

The Effort-o-Meter

It is possible to check Pokémon’s stats with a glance at the Effort-o-Meter. Check a Pokémon’s Effort-o-Meter graph on the Super Training main screen to get a quick and easy look at how a Pokémon has grown.

Each Pokémon has some stats that will grow more easily than others and some stats that will take more work to raise. The inside (green) part of the Effort-o-Meter graph shows the stat levels relevant to each Pokémon species. The outside (yellow) part of the graph shows the base stat increases that a Pokémon has achieved through Super Training.
