==Rarity==
The typical pokemon booster pack contains 10 cards (including the code card), though the base set packs originally had 11. This consists of 6 common cards (depicted by a black circle on the bottom right or left of the card), 3 uncommons (depicted by a black diamond on the bottom left or right corner of the card), and one 1 rare card which can range from a regular to a secret rare card, the latter being more difficult to find.
The rarities for standard cards are listed:
Common (black circle)
Uncommon (black diamond)
Rare (Star)
Another type of card is holographic and reverse holographic. Holographic cards contain shiny foil in the picture of the art, while reverse holographic are shiny on the outside of the picture. Back during the 2007 expansion though, reverse holographic which can be found in on any nonrare card of any expansion, is depicted in the picture of the card.
Rarities for rare cards: As described above, 1 are card is included in every booster pack of the "Pokemon TCG" expansions. There is a range of rarities within starting from the regular rare, which only contains a black star on either the bottom or left corner of the card and is the most commonly found in booster packs. Next comes holographics which contains a shiny foil in the picture art of the card. From there up is the ultra rare with a shiny silver star depicted in the corner of the card. These include EX,Gx, Lv. X, V, and full are trainer cards.
